Lingarajappa Engineering College (LEC), which came into existence in the year 2011, is a well-known private co-educational College in Bidar, Karnataka. This Institution is a unit of Shri Sharana Basaveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha, Gulbarga, and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka.

The Courses offered at LEC include B.E, M. Tech and MBA Degree programs in various disciplines of Engineering and Management.  The Eligibility for admission into the college is based on the scores obtained the following exams:

B. Tech: KCET

M. Tech: PGCET

MBA: CAT, KMAT, MAT, or any equivalent exam

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Master of Technology (M.Tech) Eligibility Criteria

Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

Lingarajappa Engineering College, Bidar Placement Cell helps students communicate effectively and succeed in their personal and professional lives. It focuses on molding the personality of the students by enhancing their communicative competence and interaction skills. It aims at helping the students to improve their listening, speaking, reading, writing skills and grammar, business correspondence, effective vocabulary, pronunciation, and presentation skills, which are the other components of this program. The activity-based courseware facilitates the students to develop good interpersonal skills, team building skills, leadership qualities, creativity, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage time and stress crises. Transport Facility

Lingarajappa Engineering College, Bidar provides buses for the transportation of our students and faculties. The routes and pickup points are laid out, and you are requested to follow the timings set for the pickup. In addition to the transportation provided by us, KSRTC buses from all corners of the city ply to our college, since our college route is a national highway(NH-4). The students can choose their preferred mode of transportation.
