Lord Jegannath College of Engineering & Technology - LJCET is a Private, Non-Minority, Self-Financing, Co-Education College established in the year 2006 by the PSN Education & Charitable Trust with a view of promoting technical education to the neglected rural youth by the great visionary Dr. P. Suyambu Nadar, Chairman, along with his team of Board of Trustees.

LJCET is located at PSN Nagar, Ramanathichanputhur, Marungoor, Kanyakumari Dist on a serene, green and vast 100 Acre campus of which the College is constructed on 6.85 Acres, 15 Kms East of Nagercoil and 15 Kms North of Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari (CAPE) Railway Station is 4 Kms and Trivandrum Airport is 110 Kms away from the College Campus.

LJCET is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the College with an A-Grade Rating.

LJCET has several Academic Programs at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. The College currently offers B.E (7), B.Tech (1), M.E (5) in different disciplines apart from MCA and MBA option to choose from. The college has Scholarship facility for the students. Admission Procedure

TNEA Rank List 2025 has been published @tneaonline.org. The ineligible applicants can file their grievances from June 28 to July 2, 2025. Further, the Online General Counselling will be held from July 14 to August 19, 2025.

• Admission is primarily through TNEA counselling, based on your 10+2 marks
  
• Lateral entry candidates must apply through the state’s lateral-entry counselling.

• B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant specialization, with a minimum of 50% aggregate

Placement training programmes are conducted from the first year itself. Lord Jegannath College of Engineering and Technology, Nagercoil

The Science and Humanities Department has well equipped Physics and Chemistry laboratories. It has lab for Communication English equipped with latest software and a well furnished computer lab.The Central Workshop is provided with adequate infrastructure to cater to the needs of the engineering workshop related practicals of various programmes. The tools and machine required for the workshop is provided right from the initial stage.The instrumentation centre in the campus will take of most of the maintenance work of the equipments of the various laboratories including the computers in the college and it will also function as an additional facility for students and faculty for students and faculty to learn in the area of repair and overhauling.

All classrooms are fitted with Over Head Projectors (OHP). Audio-visual centre are also available with LCD projectors. Classes for which more illustrations are needed are conducted in the AV centres, The health centre offers check-up and medical attendance as and when needed. The health centre will remain open during the college hours and students can contact the Centre in-charge for medical assistance,The canteen provides hygienic food at a reasonable price. Caterers who have vast experience in catering run the canteen. 

Transport

College buses ply between Marthandam (via Nagercoil), Colachel (via Nagercoil), Valliyoor, Kanyakumari and the college. The bus fare is nominal.
