Admission Procedure

MKCE B.Tech admission is based on 10+2 marks; no entrance exam is required. Students need to participate in the TNEA counselling process. Applications must be submitted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) portal. Last date for Registration of TNEA online applications is June 06, 2025.

Admission Process

MKCE offers admission to the BE program in 5 specialisations, such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering. For admission to the BE program, candidates must have completed 10+2 and also need to appear for the TNEA counselling process. MKCE BE program is INR 2.2 Lakhs for the complete course.

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 followed by the TNEA counselling process.

M.E / M.B.A / M.C.A - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

• MKCE offers admission to the MBA program in 4 specialisations, such as Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Finance. For admission to the MBA program, candidates must have completed their graduation and also need to appear for the TANCET entrance exam.
• MKCE offers admission to the ME program in 4 specialisations, such as Communication System, Computer Science & Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Power System Engineering.

1. National Scholarship Exam (NSE)

Eligibility: Students from Class 5 to Graduate level
Award: Up to ₹35,000 based on merit

2. State Government Scholarships

Each state (like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Kerala, etc.) offers its own engineering scholarships:
Tamil Nadu: First Graduate Scholarship (₹25,000/year)
Maharashtra: Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna

MKCE CENTRAL LIBRARY established in the year 2000 is spread over 10,346.5 sq. ft. is a valuable resources for students and faculties of engineering, technology and management. The library has built a robust collection of over 61894 books. The Library has an Air conditioned facility and provides access to the best of digital resources through its subscription to various databases consisting of scholarly and industry relevant content.The MKCE Library is to provide information services and access to bibliographic and full text digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the Institute Community. The Library has a collection of over 61000 Volumes of Reference, Textbooks, Etc. It also has amazingly good collections of Directories, Yearbooks, Biographical sources, Textbooks, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Handbooks, General Books, competitive exam books, and including Tamil novels.

Transport

We are providing college bus service from various prominent locations all over the city to the college. This is despite the location of the college at the heart of the city. We have a fleet of buses to cater to the transportation needs of students and staff. The bus picks up students outside the city as well as the places near the college and will drop them at the same point each day. We ensure the students safety by employing a well experienced set of drivers with speed control devices and first aid box in all the buses.
