Admission Process

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process, which is based on the candidates' performance in their higher secondary (10+2) examinations. Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects and meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities.

Eligibility

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board.
• Candidates with a 3-year diploma or B.Sc. degree (with Mathematics) can apply for direct second-year admission.

M.E / M.B.A / M.C.A - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

For postgraduate programs such as M.E/M.Tech, admission is usually through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or GATE scores. Additionally, the college may offer management quota seats, for which candidates can apply directly through the college’s admission office.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.E./B.Tech) with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). (For BE)
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). (For MBA)
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). (For MCA)

Placement

The Memorandum of Understanding with Infosys was signed in the year 2011. Since then some of our faculty members were sent to Infosys to attend the workshops on Faculty Development Program. They were trained by the Infosys by a program called ‘Train the Trainers’. This happens once in six months and the faculties learn how to teach using the latest methodologies. The trained staff came back to our college and trained the other staff of our college. After this faculties training program was initiated, we were able to start campus connect program successfully for the students at Madha Engineering College.

Scholarship

1. SC/ST/SCA and Converted Christian (SCC) Fee Concession

• Eligibility: Annual family income below ₹2.5 lakhs for SC/ST/SCA and below ₹2.0 lakhs for Converted Christians (SCC).
  
• Benefit: Tuition fee concession as per Tamil Nadu government norms.
  

2. BC/MBC/DNC Scholarships

• Eligibility: Applicable to government quota students with annual family income below ₹2.0 lakhs.
