It is located at Kundrathur, Chennai and is run by Christian Minority Educational Trust. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, is affiliated to Anna University and is approved by the UGC. Madha Engineering College is a premier institute for M.E./M.Tech, MBA/PGDM, MCA, B.E. / B.Tech courses. The college offers Degree courses including 10 UG and 7 PG programs in various specializations of the engineering field - B.E. Course across 7 fields and B.Tech courses in 2 fields for the duration of 4 years at the undergraduate level. The college provides M.E. courses in 5 specializations with MCA and MBA courses for the duration of 2 years. These programs are offerred in Full Time and Part Time mode.

Eligibility & Admission Procedure
B.E / B.Tech
Govt. Quota – Based on the cut off marks obtained in the higher secondary (10+2) examination.
Mgt. Quota – Based on the entrance exam conducted by Association of Management of Chennai Anna University Affiliated Colleges
Qualifying Examinations: HSC Academic / Equivalent
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with at least the minimum aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics put together category wise.
Minimum Eligibility Marks
General Category (OC) – 45% marks in aggregate
BC / BCM / MBC / DNC / SC / SCA / ST Category – 40% marks in aggregate
Qualifying Examinations: Diploma
B.E. / B.Tech. – Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)
Based on the percentage marks obtained in the Diploma (10+3/12+2) examination.
Mgt. Quota – Based on the entrance exam conducted by Association of Management of Chennai Anna University Affiliated Colleges
Candidates who have passed 10+3 or 12+2 years Diploma / B.Sc (any stream) Examination recognized by Central / State Governments with Mathematics as compulsory subject.
Minimum Eligibility Marks
General Category (OC) – 55% aggregate in all Semester marks put together
BC / BCM Category – 50% aggregate in all Semester marks put together

The college runs a full-fledged Transport department that operates 30 buses in addition to cabs to extend transport facilities for students and staff coming from urban and suburban areas.
