Madhav University, Pindwara, Distt-Sirohi, Rajasthan has been established by Act No. 7 of 2014 of State Legislature of Govt. of Rajasthan and notified by UGC to award degrees as per section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956 under the aegis of Manav Bharti Charitable Trust with the realization that social transformation can occur through the spread of high-quality education. Madhav University is spread over 100 acres of lush green sprawling campus on NH-27 highway near international airport and railway station.

Important Instructions for the Candidates
Before filling the Admission Form the candidate is required to read the Information Brochure carefully.
No column should be left blank in the Admission Form; write N.A. against the column which is not applicable otherwise it will be considered as incomplete and rejected.
Self attested photo copies of certificates/DMCs from Matriculation onwards and photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer must be attached with the Admission Form.
No course will be started, if the strength of students is less than ten and no specialisation will be started, if the strength is less than five.
Candidates having compartment in the qualifying examination shall not be allowed admission.
If the last date of receipt of Admission Form and last date for depositing the dues falls on a holiday or that day is declared holiday by the University, the next working day will be considered the last day for the purpose.
Each admitted candidate shall have to furnish two self declarations as per specimen given atthe backside of Admission Form as Annexure A & B from himself/herself as well as parent/guardian that he/she was never found guilty of ragging and shall not indulge in any act of ragging in future. If a candidate after his/her admission is found indulging in any kind of misconduct, his/her admission will be cancelled.
No migration ortransfer will be allowed from the University during the course.
A candidate after admission to any course in University Teaching Department shall not be admitted to any other course until he/she has completed the first course.
If a candidate fails to attend his/her classes continuously for ten days from the date of commencement of the classes or from the date of admission, his/her admission shall be cancelled.
If any candidate gets accommodation allotted in his/her name in a Hostel and allows some other person(s) to stay in his/her allotted room and/or to take meals, in that case the admission of both the students, i.e.
(i) the allotee and
(ii) the illegal occupant, shall be cancelled from the University as well as from the Hostel without assigning any reason.
Use of Alcohol is prohibited in the University Campus/Hostels. Every student must observe discipline in the Campus failing which strict action will be taken against him/her.
Any legal dispute of the candidate will be subject to Jurisdiction of Sirohi (Raj.) Court only.
Hostel facility will be provided on first come first serve basis.
If a candidate remains absent from the class for 14 days or more in a month his/her name will be struck off from the rolls and his/her parents will also be informed.
A candidate should keep his/her Identity Card always with him/her. The same should be shown when demanded by the University officer/official.
If the concerned authorities are not satisfied with the character, past behaviour and antecedents of a candidate, they may refuse to admit him/ her to any course of study in the University in order to ensure academic standards, discipline and peaceful atmosphere in the University.
The candidate(s) found to have appeared in any other examination from another Institution simultaneously in contravention with the UGC Guidelines regarding pursuing of regular courses in two Universities at later stage, the certificate 8t degree issued/to be issued, will be treated as cancelled.
The admission of such candidates whose DMC/Degree and any other documents on the basis of admission was sought have been found fake at later stage shall be cancelled.
Any working Professional whether Govt./Private organisation he/she has to take departmental permission for pursuing regular studies. If he/she has not submitted the proper departmental permission, action will be taken as per rules and his/her DMC/Degree etc. issued by the University be treated as cancelled.
All courses are offered in regular mode at University Campus only. The University has no study center in any part of the country or abroad.

Reservation
The allocation of seats for the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped) shall be as per the policy of the State Government. The seats remaining vacant under various reserved categories other than SC category will be converted into General Category only if upto the date of display of final list or day of final counseling (whichever applicable), no eligible candidate belonging to the respective reserved categories is available for admission.

List of documents to be submitted with the admission form
DMCs/Certificates of last qualifying examination passed;
Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate, in support of date of birth;
Character Certificate:
(i) Regular Candidate: The candidate who passed his/her qualifying exam from College/Department as regular student is required to submit the Character Certificate from the Principal concerned.
(ii) Private Candidate: Candidate who has passed the qualifying examination, as private candidate should submit his/her Character Certificate duly signed by a First Class Magistrate.
(iii) Distance Education Candidate: The candidate who has passed his/her qualifying examination through Distance Education is required to submit his/her Character Certificate from the Director, Distance Education of the concerned University.
(iv) Gap in Study: Candidate, who has gap in his/her academic career after the Qualifying Examination, must furnish a gap certificate, in the form of affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper or certificate from the employer (if in service) and should also furnish separately a Character Certificate of gap period duly attested by Notary Public.
Residence Certificate (if applicable): Candidate, who has passed his/her qualifying examination from the Universities in the State of Rajasthan will be deemed to be Rajasthani residents and will not be required to submit certificate of bonafide resident of Rajasthan.
Certificate in case of candidate belonging to SC / ST / OBC / Physically Handicapped/Ex- Serviceman/Freedom Fighter etc., if applicable.
Migration Certificate (original) from the University/Board of last qualifying examination.
Six coloured passport size photographs, all original and one set of attested photocopies of all applicable documents testimonials/certificates must be brought at the time of counseling/admission.
Original certificates will be returned after verification and completion of formalities. In exceptional cases all original certificates may be retained and will be returned later on.

Rules for Adjustment

(a) ADJUSTMENT OF FEE

If a candidate after having deposited fee for admission in one course joins another course in another University Teaching Dept./Institute in the same session, as mentioned below, and is permitted to withdraw his/her candidature, fee/funds except admission-cum-registration fee already deposited by him/her for the course from which he/she has withdrawn, shall be adjusted/refunded against the fee/funds of the course he/she joins subject to the condition that the difference, if any, shall be paid by the candidate :

·         (i) from a general course to another general course;

·         (ii) from a general course to a professional course or vice-versa.

(b) REFUND OF FEE

If a candidate withdraws from the course/programme in which he/she was admitted in the University Teaching Departments/Institutes/Colleges maintained by the Madhav University, the Tuition Fee only + Caution Money (without deductions), if any, to the candidate will be refunded as per following rules:

Note :

In case of demise of a candidate during the period as per point no. 1, 2 and 3 above, the application of withdrawal of admission and refund of fee is to be submitted by the parents/guardian of the candidate and the fee will be refunded without any deductions.
Formally-notified last date of admission is the date of display of the Final List in the Dept./ Institute/college/Start of classes.

Fee will be refunded to the eligible candidate who are covered the above criteria given at Sr. No. 1 to 4 within 30 working days from the date of closure of admission of that academic session. In the courses, which are also governed by AICTE rules, application of refund of fee will not be admitted after 10th of August as last date for completing the admission process is 15th August.

The university maintains a special placement unit that assists students in landing jobs at reputable businesses. To help students get ready for job interviews, the placement cell also puts together a variety of courses, seminars, and training sessions.
