Mahalakshmi Tech Campus is part of the Mahalakshmi Group of Institutions was founded in the year 2011-12 and has the approval of AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai.

The key individuals of the Leadership Team who steer the college are the Group Chairman and the Principal of the Institute who in turn are assisted by a Governing Body with the Academic Council and Finance Committee being the crucial wings. All these internal bodies and councils consist of well experienced and motivated individuals drawn from the field of Education and Business.
