MAEER'S Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) is a leading private institute of engineering located in Pune. Meritorious students of MIT continue to get their National Merit and other Government Scholarships. Needy and poor deserving students are given all possible help in the form of books and freeships and concession in fees. Full concession in tuition fees will be given to the deserving Backward Class Students belonging to S.C., N.T., S.T., and V.J.N.T. classes.

The scholarship is not given in cash however it gets adjusted in the tuition fees and also all the concession of the scholarship is applicable for one year only. In order to avail the scholarship, it would be mandatory for the student to ‘Apply’ for the scholarship by filling the scholarship application form. Furthermore, the college also honours the meritorious students with a gold medal according to their academic scores to create healthy competition amongst the students.
The campus hostel is located on Paud Road in salubrious and lush green surroundings. All the hostel buildings are provided with 24 hrs. security guards. Boys' hostel is a five storey building having accommodation for 400 students. Two separate buildings are meant for Girl-students, one in MIT School / Hostel campus near MIT boys hostel, with a capacity of 300 girl-students and the other building is located in the MIT College Campus, accommodating 175 girl-students.
There are various facilities in hostels like - canteen, public phone, cold drinking water, hot water for bath, etc. For entertainment the T.V. sets are available in recreation halls. However, viewing time is pre-defined. A Doctor visits the hostel, twice a week to conduct medical check-up.
Hostel accommodation is allotted to students strictly on merit basis during the first year. International students are given preference. Hostel buildings (one for boys and one building for girls) are located at S. No. 127/C, in MIT School / Hostel Campus, near Mahaganesh Colony, Opp. More Vidyalaya bus stop, Paud Road , Pune-38.

Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT), Pune has a state-of-the-art infrastructure with international standards and has all modern amenities. The campus of MIT Pune is spread over 17 acres with lush green surroundings. The classrooms of MIT Pune are equipped with audio and visual aids and have air-conditioners. MIT has a central library with various departmental libraries, which contain more than 70000 technical books and also subscribes to 175 titles, 15 newspapers, and 10 magazines. MIT Pune campus is an e-campus with a total of 400 computers connected with fiber-optic backbone networks and server-client technology.
The MIT campus also has activities such as the NCC which helps a great deal in shaping up the overall personality of the young men & women, who would be the responsible citizens of tomorrow. The college has its own annual magazine namely, Sourabh which acts as a medium for the students of MIT to showcase their talent in the forms of writing, art, design or painting. Apart from this, there is a Drishti MIT film club which includes periodic screenings of off-beat films from national as well as internationally acclaimed directors, screening of short films produced by our students, film appreciation courses and meetings with film personalities.
Transport facility is available for local students. Your home to college commute is less tiring and less risky than driving a two-wheeler.
MIT buses are available for students to conduct study tours, industrial visits, etc. Ample parking space for two-wheeler and four-wheelers provided for students, staff, MIT ensures a barrier free environment for the physically disabled.
