It was established in 1963 as Malaviya Regional Engineering College and was later granted the status of National Institute of Technology in 2002. Admission Criteria

Undergraduate Admissions

BTech and BArch are the undergraduate courses offered at MNIT Jaipur. For both courses, the candidate must have a valid JEE Mains Score, following which they must appear for the JoSAA Counselling.

MTech Admissions

MNIT Jaipur GATE Cutoff 2025 has been released. The Round 1 cutoff for M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering in 2025 is 681. For M.Tech. Computer Science and Information Security is 652.

MSc Admissions

In the Science stream, MNIT Jaipur offers MSc in 3 specialisations. Admissions are based on IIT JAM Scores, followed by the candidate appearing for CCMN Counselling. The intake for this program at MNIT Jaipur is 123 seats and the total fees is INR 30,000. Given below are the special eligibility requirements to enrol for this program.

MBA Admissions

Under post-graduation, the Department of Management Studies at MNIT Jaipur offers a Two-Year Full-Time MBA Program. This course has an intake of 75 seats, and the total fees for this program are INR 2 Lakhs.

Placement

The T&P cell collaborates with leading organizations for setting up internship and training program of students.The Office interacts with many companies/industries in the country, of which nearly 200 companies visit the campus for holding campus interviews. These organizations which approach the institute come under the purview of: Core Engineering Industries, IT & IT enabled services, Manufacturing, Consultancy Firms, Investment & Finance Companies, Management Organisations, R&D laboratories.

The company should fill in the Job Notification Form (JNF)/Internship Notification Form (INF) and submit it to the Training and Placement Cell (TPC) portal. The JNF/INF serves as an introduction of the job/internship profile for the benefit of the candidates and also informs them of the company's requirements.
The company will be allotted slots and dates for conducting Pre-Placement Talk (PPT)/Written Test/Online Test, with a request to confirm the same by a specified date. On failing to do so, the allotted slot may be given to other companies on their request. Request for any change in the slot can be entertained subject to its availability.

Extending into an area of over 312 acres of lush greenery, the campus of the Institute is imaginatively laid-out with a picturesque landscape. It presents a spectacle of harmony in modern architecture, and natural beauty which enthralls and inspires. Indeed, all the states and union territories of the country are represented in the undergraduate intake of the Institute(50% from Rajasthan & the other 50% from all States & Union Territories of India), thus making it a perfect example of the celebrated axiom, ‘unity in diversity’. The institute is actively engaged in research, consultancy and development activities and collaborates with leading industrial houses and IT companies in various projects. The campus provides all essential amenities for community living like staff clubs, hospital, bank, post office, community centre, school, staff residences, gymnasium, playing fields, guest houses, and canteen etc.

The Institute has a spacious and well equipped library which is being run according to an open access system. It has rich collection of about 1,33,600 volumes of books, periodicals, reports and reference material. In addition to the books from main library, some more books are issued to students from book bank also. There is a video viewing facility. Large number of books, periodicals, video cassettes and CD-ROMs are available. The library is being fully computerized.

One canteen near the instructional zone, another near the hostels and one Nescafe coffee shop provides refreshments to the students and the staff during and beyond the working hours.A full-fledged Dispensary is available in the campus. It is supervised by a residential Medical Officer. The services of a part-time Homeopathy Doctor and a Lady Doctor are also available to students and to the family members of the staff.

Hostel

The Institute provide on campus boarding and lodging facility to regular students, the current accommodation capacity is, 3058 and 1509 for Boys and Girls, respectively. The messes in the hostel are managed and regulated by "MNIT Mess Council".
