The uniqueness of Placement and Career Cell of this prestigious Institution is prevalent through the execution of meticulous planning and systematic schedule.

As the candle spreads, and the mirror reflects the light, the department spreads the light to reflect the dreams and goals of the students. Instead of waiting for opportunities, opportunities knock at your door. The infrastructure too enhances the facilities of the Placement and Career Training Programmes. The Placement Cell of the Institute organizes campus placement initiatives of the graduating students of our college. The Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process. The placement Cell has at its disposal ample equipments and infrastructure to cater to the various requirements of the visiting companies. Special interactions in form of guest lectures, job oriented courses, special training programmes hands on practice sessions, direct Q&A are regularly organized with active participation from industry oriented professionals & experts to train the students to match the industry expectations.

MCW provides hostel facility for girls. The hostel are inside the campus and can accommodate 65 students. The students in the hostel feel a home away from home. Students from different parts of Tamilnadu while staying together have better understanding and help to adapt different kinds of students.

Mangayarkarasi College of Arts & Science Library exists to support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Library pursues higher value of Knowledge, Creativity, Wisdom and Empowers its users to be connected with literate published/available in the field through its collection and networks. The library is situated in Block 2 with 3135 sq.fts. It has 150 seating capacity. Library has established conducive atmosphere with provision of tables and chairs for reading with good ventilation for the students. Adequate space if provided for browsing and relaxed reading. Library has stocking over 13,000 books and 80 printed journals in a separate journal section. It has computerized circulation service and provided with OPAC facility to know the availability of the books etc. E-books and E-journals facility is provided to the users including remote access.

The objectives of encouraging and promoting the sporting spirit of the student community. The department is equipped with necessary facilities and equipment, which enable the students to undergo regular practice for achieving perfection. The department has already proved its efficiency by molding students to represent University and District Levels Level in Volley ball, Kho-Kho Utmost care is taken by the department to equip itself to the innovations and improvements effected in the Global sporting world.

The college provides hostel accommodation for women students with furnished rooms, hygienic dining facilities, study halls, Wi-Fi access, purified drinking water, recreation facilities, wardens, CCTV surveillance, and round-the-clock security, ensuring a safe and comfortable residential environment.

MCW operates buses for the convenience of students and staff coming from in and around various city. College is running bus services from different locations so that students hailing from any location within Madurai will have a nearby pickup cum-drop back point to board the college bus to come to college and to go back home. Parents also can have peace of mind while their wards are out in the college and need not worry about the traffic and driving problem. This transport facility is also used for various educational purposes like field trips, industrial visits and recruitment’s.
