Mata Gujri College, commonly known as MGC, is a co-educational autonomous college located in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. The institution was established in 1957 to commemorate the supreme martyrdom of Mata Gujri Ji, the revered mother of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The college was founded by Bibi Gurcharan Kaur Mann and functions under the management of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). The institution was established with the broader objective of providing quality higher education and creating educational opportunities for rural youth. Its academic approach combines traditional education with professional, vocational and skill-oriented programmes.

The college has been autonomous since 2010 and is recognised as a College with Potential for Excellence. It has also received Star College status under the DBT scheme, FIST support and approval from the Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education. AICTE approval is applicable to its MBA and MCA programmes. The college also reports ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 certifications.

Mata Gujri College provides separate residential facilities for boys and girls with an emphasis on safety, hygiene and student comfort. The girls' residential facilities include Bebe Nanki Girls Hostel, Mata Tripta Girls Hostel and Mata Jeeto Girls Hostel, which together can accommodate more than 600 girl students. The boys' facility is Baba Ajay Singh Boys Hostel. Hostel facilities include purified RO drinking water, water heaters, uninterrupted power supply, medical support, computer and internet facilities and indoor games. The girls' hostels additionally provide gymnasium facilities and regular medical support through a lady doctor and pharmacist.
