Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital are one of the reputed Pvt. Dental Colleges located in Maduravoyal, Tamil Nadu established in the year 1990-91 under the aegis of Meenakshi Ammal Trust.  It is a constituent college of MAHER – Meenakshi Ammal Academy of Higher Studies & Research (Deemed to be University).   The Trust which was coined in the year 1983 by Mrs.D.Meenakshi Ammal, a well-known philanthropist, functions to serve the needy communities in our society.  The college works with a noble cause for providing quality education to deserving students. MADCH is one of the few Dental Colleges to be located within the city limits on Alapakkam Main Rd, Janaki Nagar, Maduravoyal, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.  The dental college spreads over a sprawling 5.12 acres with a total built up area of 4,12,694 sq.feet encompassing the College and Hospital Buildings.

The journey of MADCH started way back in the year 1990, when it was affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University.  Since then, this institution has grown leaps and bounds to become one of India’s finest dental colleges.  Later in 2004, it was declared as a constituent college of MAHER (Deemed to be University) by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, under section 3 of the UGC act of 1956.  The major accreditations include NAAC, NIRF and ISO.  The college has secured 24th rank among the dental colleges during the year 2021.  For the first time, MADCH was awarded an ‘A’ grade by NAAC in 2006.  Since then, the institute has been striving to raise the standard of dental education on par with global standards and to perform high-quality dental research that will benefit the public.

MADCH offers BDS and MDS Degree programs in the UG, PG levels.  It also offers UG Diploma programs.  The criteria for admission to the BDS program is NEET entrance exam and for MDS it is NEET MDS.  For students opting for UG Diploma courses the eligibility is CBSE 12^th ISC+1.
