MES Institute of Technology and Management was established in 2009 under the management of Muslim Educational Society(MES) Regd..The College is located at Kollam District near Thirumukku, Chathannoor, Kerala state. Muslim Educational Society (MES) Regd., founded in the year 1964, is the biggest educational agency of the Muslim community in India having hundreds of institutions.

MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, the first self financing engineering college with minority status in the state of Kerala started in the year 1994, managed by MES is widely acknowledged as one of the top institutions for imparting technical education in the state.

Management
MES Institute of Technology and Management is managed by Muslim Educational Society (MES) Regd., which is the biggest educational agency of the Muslim community in India having hundreds of institutions. The society was started under the great leadership of late Dr P.K. Abdul Ghafoor in 1964 at Calicut.

As on today it is the largest Muslim service organisation in the country. It not only has Units in each and every District in Kerala, but also has spread to the neighboring states like Tamilnadu. It has also well established units in the Middle East countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, etc.

MES Institute of Technology and Management is under the general control of MES College of Engineering Kuttippuram Management Committee, with the following office bearers.

Terms of Selection
Presently 50% of total seats are filled by the Government and 50% are filled by the Management.
Government Seats are filled by the Government based on merit and reservation from the Common Entrance Test Rank list.
Management Seats are filled by the Management based on merit. The merit may be evaluated based on the Common Entrance Test Score/Rank and Qualifying examination results.
The candidates are to appear for interview and counseling at their own expense.
The candidates have to bring the original certificates at the time of admission and the list of marks obtained in the common entrance test along with a copy of each of the above including that of TC.
The fact that a candidate has appeared for interview does not confer on him/her any claim for selection.
Individual admission/selection memos will be sent by the Principal, MES Institute of Technology & Management to candidates selected.
The candidates who do not present themselves for interview/counseling at the appointed place, date and time will not be considered for admission.
MES or the Secretary, MES Institute of Technology & Management Managing Committee will not be responsible for non receipt of application forms/selection memos and other correspondences regarding admission. If the candidates who are provisionally selected do not report before the Principal on prescribed time and date, the selection will automatically be cancelled without further notice.
Admission given to the Engineering College is based on the details and information furnished by the candidate or his/her parent/guardian and if any false information or error is detected at any stage in the mark list, certificate or details furnished by the candidate or his/her parent/guardian, the admission of the candidate will be cancelled and he/she will be removed from the rolls of the institution.
The college will be functioning as per the guidelines issued by AICTE, Government of Kerala and the relevant orders of the Supreme Court of India.
Political activity in the campus is totally banned. An undertaking has to be signed jointly by the student and his/her parent/guardian at the time of admission in the prescribed Format. Campus includes students’ hostel and other places in the possession and under the control of the college.
For the details not specifically covered in this Information Brochure the decision of the secretary, MES Institute of Technology & Management Managing Committee will be final.
The High Court of Kerala only will have the jurisdiction to decide on disputes arising, if any, regarding admission. The consumer protection jurisdiction is also confined to the State of Kerala only.
The admission of a student would be liable to be cancelled if he/she indulges in ragging.

Document Retention Policy
As per the norms of AICTE/University/Govt of Kerala collected from students will be returned after verification by University/DTE.
All other documents related to the student will be released once the student discontinues or completes the course.

It is the duty of CGPC to give training for our students in the areas of soft skill, aptitude group discussion and prepare the students to face the interviews. CGPC frequently arrange motivation classes for our students, thereby we mould our students to get exposed to the industry, which will help our students to obtain great heights with attractive perks.

CGPC is a team work. It is being headed by the Coordinator, Placement & Training officer, Professor In Charge of Training with the support of staff coordinators from each from respective departments and student coordinator from each class.

Schlorship are by govt is eligible. And education loans are provided by various banks for students. Also mes managenament give special scholrship for those financially backward. Management helps to pull up the backward students provide this type of schlorships.

The Institute is having state of the art computer labs and resource center.
