MET'S GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS
MET is the acronym for Mala Educational Trust established in 2001.The trust consists of eminent persons who include Educationists, Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers and Businessmen hailing from the district of Thrissur, Kerala. MET'S Group of Institutions covers a wide variety of professional courses conducted by MET'S School of Engineering & MET'S College of Advanced Studies and MET’S Polytechnic. The purpose of running such three professional institutions is to bring the benefits of technical education to the rural population of Mala and its surrounding areas in particular and to State of Kerala, at large.

MET'S School of Engineering is a self –financing, Christian-minority Professional Engineering College in Thrissur, established by Mala Educational Trust (MET) in 2002. It is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University (APJAKTU). The College has been awarded ISO Certification 9001-2008 by NQA (UK), testifying to its very high standards of infrastructure facilities including Labs and Libraries, excellent faculty, academic brilliance, training and placement. The entire College campus has been provided with Wi-Fi facility.

Read the eligibility part in Admission Section of mets webpage carefully. Please ensure that you possess minimum entry qualification and also satisfy other conditions as mentioned while choosing a course. If you do not possess the minimum qualification as laid down in admission brochure, you will not be considered for the admission.

Of the total seats, 50% are filled by the students who appeared in the KEEM and allotted by the Entrance Commissioner. The remaining 50% of seats goes to management quota.Of this 35% seats are allotted to students considering their marks in Plus 2 exam and KEEM-2018 put together and ranked accordingly. The remaining 15% seats are allotted to NRI.

The State Entrance Commissioner invites applications for government seats and the management invites application from the candidates who have qualified the entrance exams.

The State Entrance Commissioner publishes the rank list of candidates who appeared in the KEEM. Management publishes rank list for management quota students from among the applicants who qualified in the KEEM.

The Chairman, Principal, Director (Academic) and Administrator constitute selection team for admission under management quota. The students are selected in the order of merit considering 50% of 12th standards marks and 50% of common entrance test marks.


How to Apply
The application form can be obtained from the office of MET'S School of Engineering, Mala, Thrissur, Kerala on payment of Rs.1000/-. Application forms can also be downloaded from the website – www.metsengg.ac.in. Such applications have to be submitted along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of “MET'S School of Engineering, Mala”. Copies of the following documents, attested by a gazetted officer/head of the institution where the student had last studied, are to be submitted along with the application.

i - Learning is a cloud based Integrated Learning and Self-assessment Platform. It facilitates students a well advanced online cloud based system to practice on various kinds of aptitude tests, and also provides platform for mock tests and interviews. Besides the aptitude skills, this system helps students to develop their writing skills through various online monitored practicing platforms.



SOFTSKILL TRAINING



Our Soft Skills Training programme encompasses a range of skills that most organizations find to be absolutely essential for their success and onward march. Here at MET's, we train our students in various skills that will stand them in good stead as they look for placements in key positions in prestigious institutions.
