MGM College of Engineering & Technology, Pampakuda named after the Holy Kings of Piravom Valiyapally is located on a green serene hillock of 11 acres by the side of Muvattupuzha – Piravom Road. The College is managed by Geevarghese Yohannan Charitable Trust which is committed to ensure International Standards in Career Orientation. It started functioning in September 2011 with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE], New Delhi and is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The College is certified by ISO 9001:2008.The Institution offers B.Tech. Courses in five branches namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Master of Technology (M.Tech) Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for admission to a full-time programme must have completed the Engineering Degree exam with a minimum of 60% overall. It is sufficient for SC/ST candidates to pass the Engineering Degree course. A minimum of 54% of total points in the Engineering Degree exam is required for SEBC (OBC) candidates.

I was selected as merit quota so I had 12500 as an annual fee and a hostel fee of about 54000. But for management quota have 25000 as an annual fee. And we also need to pay for the study materials and lab tools. The college provides scholarships for eligible students. The students who have above 90 percent on the 12th exams can study with scholarship fees. The campus provides a number of campus interviews. I got selected for Popular Hyundai as the sales executive with a stipend of 10000 as my beginning.
