Mohamed Sathak A.J. Academy of Architecture, popularly referred as MSAJAA, is one of the 18 institutions under the Mohamed Sathak Trust and was established in the year 2010.Alhaj. Janab. S. M. Mohammed Yousuf, Chairman, of Mohamed Sathak Trust, believes, “we cannot always build the future for the students, but we can build the students for the future”.

MSAJAA is part of the Mohamed Sathak Trust, a charitable and educational organization, was established on 26 October 1973.

MSAJAA is approved by the Council of Architecture (COA) New Delhi, AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It is accredited by NAAC and is an authorized center for National Aptitude Test In Architecture (NATA)

MSAJAA is steered by Prof Dr Ranee Vedamuthu as Director and Prof. Mohammed Idris as Principal. Both are highly acclaimed and have rich academic credentials to their credit.

MSAJAA is located at No.34, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, OMR, Inside SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri, Egattur. It is well connected and accessible to all major junctions and hub of Chennai by Road, Train and the upcoming Metro Services.

MSAJAA offers the following courses - B. Arch (5 Years), B.Des (4 Years) and M.Arch (5 Years)

MSAJAA has well-qualified faculty with specialization in Urban Design, Environmental Planning, Architectural Conservation, Landscape Architecture, Project Management, Real Estate Development, Structural Design, and Interior design.

MSAJAA faculty are affiliated with several professional institutions and are certified LEED, IGBC, WELL, and GRIHA accredited professionals. Their strengths lie in the area of advanced digital software and technology.

MSAJAA has an excellent infrastructure backup to support its cause of imparting high quality education. The campus has well equipped and state of Art Labs, a 240 seater Auditorium spread over 310 Sqm, OAT, Construction Yard, Hostel Facilities, Library, Conference Halls, Smart Class Rooms, Canteen Campus and is a Green Campus.

Admission Procedure

Mohamed Sathak A.J. Academy of Architecture (MSAJAA), located in Siruseri, Chennai, offers undergraduate (B.Arch) and postgraduate (M.Arch) programs in architecture. The admission procedures for these programs are as follows

Admission Criteria

B.Arch - 5 Year Course

Admission Process:

• Apply online through the official website.
  
• Participate in Anna University counseling, using the college code 1400.

Eligibility

• Passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  
• Alternatively, passed a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  
• Must have a valid NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) score.

B.Des - 3 Year Course

Eligibility

• Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).

M.Arch - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

• Admissions are conducted through Anna University counseling.
  
• Candidates need to apply via the Anna University portal and participate in the counseling process.

• Applicants must have completed a B.Arch degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
