Mohamed Sathak A.J. Academy of Architecture, popularly referred as MSAJAA, is one of the 18 institutions under the Mohamed Sathak Trust and was established in the year 2010.Alhaj. Janab. S. M. Mohammed Yousuf, Chairman, of Mohamed Sathak Trust, believes, “we cannot always build the future for the students, but we can build the students for the future”.

MSAJAA is part of the Mohamed Sathak Trust, a charitable and educational organization, was established on 26 October 1973.

MSAJAA is approved by the Council of Architecture (COA) New Delhi, AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It is accredited by NAAC and is an authorized center for National Aptitude Test In Architecture (NATA)

MSAJAA is steered by Prof Dr Ranee Vedamuthu as Director and Prof. Mohammed Idris as Principal. Both are highly acclaimed and have rich academic credentials to their credit.

MSAJAA is located at No.34, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, OMR, Inside SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri, Egattur. It is well connected and accessible to all major junctions and hub of Chennai by Road, Train and the upcoming Metro Services.

Admission Procedure

Mohamed Sathak A.J. Academy of Architecture (MSAJAA), located in Siruseri, Chennai, offers undergraduate (B.Arch) and postgraduate (M.Arch) programs in architecture. The admission procedures for these programs are as follows

Admission Criteria

B.Arch - 5 Year Course

Admission Process:

• Apply online through the official website.
  
• Participate in Anna University counseling, using the college code 1400.

Eligibility

• Passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  
• Alternatively, passed a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  
• Must have a valid NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) score.

B.Des - 3 Year Course

Eligibility

• Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).

M.Arch - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

Mohamed Sathak A.J. Academy of Architecture (MSAJAA), located in Siruseri, Chennai, offers a comprehensive range of facilities to support both academic and extracurricular activities. The campus features modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and a library stocked with an extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources. Students have access to computer labs with high-speed internet connectivity, facilitating research and design work. The institution also provides seminar and conference halls equipped with projectors, advanced sound systems, and Wi-Fi for hosting workshops, guest lectures, and other academic events.

Hostel

A home away from home provided for both boys and girls separately accommodating 120 boy students and 80 girl students. All the rooms are well furnished with modern amenities such as cot, mattress with pillows, individual cup-boards, chair-table with lamp and wall hangers. Each room accommodate only 2 persons.A hygienic canteen is available for dining within the premises. An entertainment hall with LCD- TV, indoor game facilities, reading room with newspapers and popular magazines are available. The Hostel has land-line telephone and Wi-Fi internet access.

The MSAJAA Girls Hostel is situated at Sholinganallur - 5 KM away from the campus. This hostel is located at main posh area with safety and security. Everything is available at the entrance of the Hostel. There are about 71 rooms, which can accommodate 3 girl students per room

MSAJAA academic activities Students would like together attention relieved and focused on fun and physique. Sports activities help the students to keep them fit both mentally and physically. The institution provides abundant facilities for the students to get accustomed with the varied sports activities like Basket Ball, Football, Cricket, Throw ball, Ball-badminton, Kabbadi, Aesthetics, Kho-Kho, Volley Ball and indoor games like Badminton, Cress, Carom, Table Tennis and Weight-lifting. Our students know all the angles, to bring laurels to the college and themselves

MSAJAA offers separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The boys' hostel is situated on the MSAJCE campus, while the girls' hostel is located in Sholinganallur, approximately 5 km from the main campus. Both hostels are furnished with modern amenities, including cots, mattresses, individual cupboards, study tables with lamps, and wall hangers. Additional facilities include entertainment halls with LCD TVs, indoor game areas, reading rooms with newspapers and magazines, land-line telephones, and Wi-Fi internet access.

Transport

The Mohamed Sathak Group operates a fleet of 22 buses, a Tata ACE, and an ambulance for the benefit of students and staff. These buses cover various routes across Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvallur districts, ensuring timely and safe transportation to and from the campus.
