Established in the year 2004, under the leadership of the philanthropic, technocrat Late I M Jayaram Shetty and the iconic MNBS Trust, MITK has reached out to the rural communities as a symbol of hope for availing technical education. The MITK offers 4-year Bachelor's degree programmes with the following branches -

Qualification

Candidate should have passed Karnataka State second year PUC (10+2) or equivalent exam with Physics. Math along with Chemistry and Biotechnology/Biology as the chosen subjects with English as one of the languages of study and have gotten at least 45% marks in total in optional subjects, regardless of the marks acquired in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test. In the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and other backward classes (Category - 1, 2k 2B, 3A and 3B). The base marks with the end goal of qualification will be 40% of marks in total in the optional subjects in the passing/qualifying exam.

LATERAL ENTRY

The students who have completed a 3-year diploma in Karnataka with at least 45% marks are qualified for entry to the third semester through Karnataka Common Entrance Test.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
