Mother Terasa College of Engineering and Technology is a is Self-Financed Co-EducationalCollege which was established in the year 2009 by its Founder, Mr R Chinnathambi. The College is part of Mother Terasa Group of Institutions which is run by Mother Terasa Educational and Charitable Trust with Mr R C Uthaykumar as its Chairman. The Institution was formed with the thought to facilitate the transformation of students into competent professionals, good human beings and responsible citizens, focusing on assimilation, creation and dissemination of knowledge.

The campus of Mother Terasa College of Engineering and Technology is located on a Massive 10 acres area with Calm and Pollution Free surroundings. The College was awarded the GREEN AND ECO FRIENDLY CAMPUS AWARD. It is situated in Mettusalai, Illuppur, Pudukottai (Dt) Tamilnadu. Pudukkottai Railway Station and Bus Stand are located at a distance of 25 Kms from the College.

MTCET is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College has ISO 9001 : 2015 Certification.

Mother Terasa College of Engineering and Technology, Pudukkottai

The department organized a one day Project Model Contest for the Polytechnic Students. The delegates from various institutions from all over Tamilnadu presented their project models. It is a project model contest; the students from 16 polytechnic colleges of 477 students attended the function. The chief guest Mr.Ayavoo distributed the prizes for the best and overall performance

TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT A full fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff plying through every nook and corner of Pudukkottai, Trichy and Karaikudi. This service is offered ensuring a hassle-free and safe transportation. The College runs 45 buses for providing transport facility to students from various places in the city. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.
