Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru, is owned and administered by the Carmelite Sisters of St Teresa (CSST). It is inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ whose values were Love, Peace, Brotherhood/Sisterhood, Equality, Joy, and Service. As a minority institution, it continues to enjoy the rights and privileges guaranteed by the Indian Constitution. CSST was founded on 24 April 1887 by Mother Teresa of St Rose of Lima in the town of Ernakulum in Kerala.

Born in Madras (present-day Chennai), South India, on 29 January 1858, her radical views and ideology opened up a new and glorious chapter for Indian women. Admission Procedure

MCC Bangalore Courses are offered at UG, PG, Doctorate level. There are 40 courses offered at MCC Bangalore. The courses are offered disciplines like Science, Management, Commerce, Arts. Admission Criteria

B.Sc. Admission

MCC Bangalore offers a 3-year full-time B.Sc program as its flagship course. There are 27 specializations under this program. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 75% from a recognized board. The total fee for the B.Sc. program is INR 1.99 Lakhs, depending on the specializations.

UG Admission 

MCC Bangalore offers BA, B.Com, BBA, and BCA as undergraduate programs. For admission to all these programs, the candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. The selection is based on merit and an interview at MCC Bangalore.

PG Admission

MCC Bangalore offers M.Sc, M.Com, MA, MBA, and MCA as postgraduate programs. For admission to all these postgraduate programs, the candidates must have completed their graduation degree from a recognized university.

PhD Admission

Admission Process

MCC Bangalore accepts applications through its college website only. Interested candidates can follow the steps given below to apply to MCC Bangalore:

• Fill out the online application and attach the necessary scanned documents.
  
• Pay the application fee. The application fee for the UG Program is INR 500, while the PG and Diploma course application fees are INR 750. The application fees are non-refundable.
  
• After verification of the application, the list of shortlisted candidates will be announced on the college website. Additionally, the shortlisted candidates will receive a call or an email from the program coordinator.
  
• Pay the annual course fee through the online fee payment link generated on the admission portal. Once the payment has been made, students must upload the fee receipt on the admission portal.
  
• An acknowledgement slip will be sent to the student on their registered mobile number to confirm the admission.

Information and Knowledge centre has Wi-Fi connectivity which enables the users to use their own laptops within the library RFID Technology is implemented in the Library with KIOSK and Dropbox facilities.
