M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) is top private University in Bangalore, Karnataka was founded in December 2013, under the Karnataka University Act. M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences was created under the University Act of 2013 with approval from the Government of Karnataka. UGC and AICTE recognise it, in addition to NAAC grading it with an A+. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in disciplines ranging from Engineering to Arts to Medicine.

MSRUAS offers BTech as its flagship course. To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Technology/ Biology as one of the subjects with at least 45%. The final selection will be based on the RUAS-AT Entrance Test, COMEDK UGET, KCET, or JEE Mains examination score. MSRUAS fees for BTech ranges from INR 9.6 Lakhs to INR 20 Lakhs, in total.

MSRUAS Placement 2025 concluded with 11 students getting placed, internationally. Around 300 companies visited the campus for recruitment. For 2024, MS Ramaiah highest package was offered at 52 LPA, while MS Ramaiah average offered stood at INR 6.12 LPA. Admission Procedure

MS Ramaiah University Courses are offered at UG, PG, Doctorate level. There are 100 courses offered at MS Ramaiah University. The courses are offered disciplines like Engineering, Science, Management, Arts. MS Ramaiah University courses includes B.Tech, B.Sc {Hons.}, MBA, M.Sc, Ph.D, BDS, M.Pharm, M.Tech, BBA, B Pharma. Admission Criteria

B.Tech Admissions

MSRUAS offers BTech in 11 specialisations as a popular program. Candidates appearing from the Government of Karnataka quota must appear and qualify the Karnataka Common Entrance Test. For candidates coming in via the University Quota, ComedK or RUASAT marks are a prerequisite. UNI-Gauge scores are taken into consideration for University Quota candidates as well.

UG Admissions

Under the UG domain, MS Ramaiah University courses are offered in Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Pharmacy and Nursing, among other disciplines. Admissions are granted based on RUASAT Scores. MSRUAS also accepts KCET and SAT India scores for admission to undergraduate programs.

PG Admissions

Under the PG domain, MS Ramaiah courses are offered in diverse specialisations, under various disciplines. Graduates with relevant degrees are eligible for admission. Final selection of candidates will be based on scores obtained in RUASAT/PGCET/CUET-PG Scores.

PhD Admissions

MS Ramaiah University offers doctoral programmes in 13 specialisations. Selection of eligible candidates will be done on the basis of a written test conducted by the University followed by an Interview. Candidates who have cleared the entrance exam will be allowed to sit for the interview. The selected candidates shall fulfill all admission formalities within the prescribed date paying the fee and completing all admission formalities as notified by the university.

Placement

The Department of Training & Placement assists each student in exploring placement prospects by inviting various companies for campus recruitment drive for students who are in the final year of the programme and are likely to graduate at the end of the academic year.The students are prepared for their final placement through an incessant and structured interface with the industry through vigorous internships, guest talks and industrial visits, industry ready course curriculum and Pre-placement training sessions (PPTs). Hence, final placement is a culmination of all these processes.

Deparment of Training & Placement enables the students to bridge the gap between the Academia and Corporate world. Feedback from industry is collected and the feedback used to design Pre-Placement Training Programs. This important activity is vital to enable the students to achieve desired career objectives. To enhance the capability of the student to get placed during campus placement drive and also while attending interviews on their own, DSA conducts pre placements sessions on soft skills for the benefit of students. Sessions on personal grooming, resume writing, mock interview etc. are imparted to the students. Some soft skills sessions are also inbuilt in the academic calendar.

Scholarship

The Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences rewards excellence with scholarships. Students can choose to apply for a Merit Scholarship (that is, either a Scholarship of Distinction or a Scholarship of Excellence) or an Admission Test Scholarship.

Eligible undergraduate students can choose to apply for a Scholarship of Excellence or a Scholarship of Distinction.

• Only students admitted under the University’s Direct Admissions Rules are eligible to apply for university scholarships

MAINTAINING SCHOLARSHIP

• Students who have received Merit Scholarships in any year will be eligible for a scholarship in the next year provided that they have secured the minimum prescribed CGPA marks.
  
• A student who is ineligible for renewal of a Merit Scholarship in one year can apply for the scholarship the next year upon securing the required CGPA marks.
