The Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology was established in the year 2015 under the aegis of Mysuru Royal Educational Trust, (MRET) in the year 2013.  MRIT aims at achieving "Institute of Excellence" in Technological Education. College aims at providing its students with a universal perspective and exposure by creating an efficient and effective platform where they can learn and access all the necessary and recent trends & technologies. The team of MRET is a dedicated blend of academics with relevant Doctorates and long service track record of honesty and integrity.

 
The Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology is situated on a lovely extensive 10 acres expanse of Cauvery valley near the village Lakshmipura, off Mysore-Bangalore highway, Sriranga Patna taluk, Mysore, Karnataka.  The campus is just 3.5 Km from the Columbia Asia hospital signal.

 
MRIT is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

 
Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology offers BE/B.Tech for students under five different streams. Admissions are offered on the basis of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test Exam COMEDK UGET, KCETconducted every year. Management seats are also available at the Institute.

 
Students of Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology are entitled to get the scholarships offered by the government for students opting for professional higher education. The institute guides and assists eligible and deserving students in processing their scholarships. All scholarship applications and renewal process is online via the Government of India Scholarship Websites.

 
MRIT provides all the essential Facilities for students and staff in the campus like Library & Resources, IT Infrastructure, Sports facilities, Laboratories, Medical, Cafeteria, and a lot more.  The Institute also has several Cells and committees which are student-centric and are functioning purely for their well-being like NSS, Women's Cell, Placement Cell, Scholarships, Anti-ragging Committee, Anti-Sexual Harassment, Grievance Cell, etc.

Training engineering students to push them into their career is most important task, an engineering college has to take. Our department assess every student and direct them towards their goal by giving required and following trainings. In addition to helping engineering students develop their technical skills, practical training also helps them develop their soft skills. Additionally, by teaching students how to work together, these training programmes help them develop their leadership skills. So, we adopt following training to our students.
