Nandha College of Technology is a Top Class Self-Financing Engineering College in the State of Tamil Nadu. It is part of the Sri Nandha Educational Trust, which was established in 1982 by Mr V Shanmugan, Chairman cum Managing Trustee whose vision was to enrich education, to promote the interest of students in rural areas, to offer them easy access of quality higher education and to build confidence in them to prove their realm of success.

Nandha College of Technology is on a large 25 Acres Campus set up in a semi-rural surroundings which are away from pollution and traffic. The College is located at Erode-Perundurai Main Road Vaikkalmedu, Pitchandampalayam (PO), Erode, Tamil Nadu. Perundurai Railway Station and Perundurai Bus Stand are located within 5 Kms of the College.

NCT is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It is an Autonomous Status Institution conferred by the Universities Grant Commission (UGC) and accredited by NBA in 2023 and also by NAAC with the top Grading of A+. The NIRF Ranking of the College is in the 101-150 Band in 2024.It has also received a 4-Star Rating from the Institution Innovation Council and a 5-Star Rating by the IIC for "Innovation and Start ups"

Nandha College of Technology has 3 B.E, 1 B.Tech & 2 M.E Academic Course options to offer in various disciplines apart from 1 Ph.D Program. The College offers scholarships for International Students, as well as for students from underprivileged backgrounds. Government Scholarships are available for Students from SC, ST, MBC, Christian & Muslim Communities, Single Parent Scholarship. Free Education is available to First- Graduate Students from Rural Areas, Concessions available for Students with Physical Challenges.

Nandha College of Technology, has an active Placement and Training Cell To provide quality training to shape the students to be readily employable by the industries and to meet the growing demand for trained manpower in the intrinsic competitive knowledge industry. The P & T Cell is under the supervision of a full time Placement Officer. The cell aims to fill the gaps between the industry’s expectations and the individual’s calibre by devising Value Added Programs, Placement Workshops, Soft Skills Training, Personality Development Programs etc by maintaining industry-institute relationship so as to identify the industrial needs and expectations and to train the students accordingly. In connection to this, the placement cell has signed MoU with Infosys, Red hat, etc. Infosys enriches us with a campus connect training program for our students every year. The Cell has devised two separate 4 Year Programs classified as Technical Training and Placement Training. Placement Achievement has risen year on year from 77% for the 2021 Batch to an impressive 88% for the 2024 Batch of Passing Out Students. Admission Process

• Admissions to BE is done on the basis of TNEA counselling conducted by Anna University.
  
• Admission to ME is based on the valid score in TANCET conducted by Anna University.

Eligibility

• Passed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects at 10+2 level/ Vocational stream with 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ ST)

M.E / M.B.A - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

• The college offers ME in 2 specializations at the PG level. Candidates with a BE/B.Tech degree and 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the course.
  
• Admission to ME is based on the valid score in TANCET. However, GATE qualified candidates will be given preference during admission.

Eligibility

• BE/ B.Tech in the concerned discipline with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST).

Scholarship

ST/ST SCHOLARSHIP – GOVERNMENT OF INDIA/TAMIL NADU

• Those candidates who are Indian citizens and who have passed School leaving examination, viz. Higher Secondary/ Indian School Certificate, etc. are eligible for this scholarship.
  
• The income of the parent should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 per annum.
  
• The scholarship is renewable from year to year within the stages of education.
  
• The candidate should not be in receipt of another scholarship/assistance from other sources.
  
• The scholar should have 75% attendance every year.
  
• The award of scholarship is subject to good conduct and character. It is renewable every year on promotion.

The primary aim of the library is to support the student of our institution for education. The collection of the library includes Books, Journals, Magazines, Project report, Question Bank, Newspaper back files and other richest collection in the Fields of Management studies, Science and Technologies.The library has a separate section for Audio Video Cassettes, CD-ROMS, Journals, Magazines, Internet services and Reference books like Bibliographies, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries etc. library is computerized using I-lib automation software, which helps the Students and Staff members to search any type of library documents. The Bar-coding technology is adopted with the software to speedup the circulation process.

Yoga is a holistic practice, which helps you gain overall balance and focus. Most students experience an increase in strength and flexibility,a decrease in stress levels and tension in the muscles, and a feeling of mental clarity and peace.A gym, short for gymnasium, is an open air or covered location for gymnastics, athletics, and gymnastic services. They are commonly found in athletic and fitness centers, and as activity and learning spaces in educational institutions.The department has all the facilities to promote sports and games among the students. The total area of play ground is more than 5 acres. State level and district level tournaments periodically held in the campus.
