The Nandha Engineering College is an autonomous institution located at Erode.  Established in 2001, Nandha Engineering College, which started with 3 branches, is in its 23rd year of service to the student community. It remains the flagship brand of Nandha Educational Institutions and is recognized as one of the best engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Nandha Engineering College is nestled in 25 acres of lush greenery in Perundurai, Main Road, Vaikkaalmedu, Erode, Tamil Nadu. It is located 10 km from Erode Railway station and 80 km from Coimbatore Airport.  Ingur Railway Station is the closest to the college, at a distance of 11 km. NEC Erode is located 5.3 km away from the Perundurai Bus Stop.

Nandha Engineering College is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The college is accredited by NAAC & NBA.

NEC provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs and students can choose a variety of courses, including B.E/B.Tech, M.E, and M.B.A, M.C.A. from a variety of specializations. The admissions are based on Engineering counseling conducted by Anna university, Chennai.  TNEA and TANCET are the accepted exams for entrance.

Nandha Engineering College excels as one of the Top Engineering Colleges in Erode.  The college, as of now, is functioning with 250 faculty members and 3000 students belonging to 12 Engineering and Technology Departments, Computer Applications, Management Studies, Basic Science and Humanities Department.  The training and placement cell of the institute assists students in gaining experience and seeking employment.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE 

The students seeking admission to the first semester of the eight semesters B.E./B.Tech.Degree Programme shall require satisfying eligibility rules as prescribed by the University and the Government of Tamil Nadu from time to time.The students who possess the Diploma in Engineering/Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are eligible to apply for Lateral entry admission to the third semester of B.E./B.Tech. degree programme and required to satisfy the conditions of admissions there to prescribed by the University and the Government of Tamil Nadu.Students for admission to the M.E./M.Tech./MBA/MCA degree programme will be required to satisfy the conditions of admission there to prescribed by the university and Government of Tamil Nadu. Students for admission to the M.E./M.Tech./MBA/MCA degree programme will be required to satisfy the conditions of admission there to prescribed by the university and Government of Tamil Nadu. Detailed admission criterion is given below.

Eligibility

Candidates for admission to the first semester of the Postgraduate Degree programme shall be required to have passed an appropriate Under-Graduate Degree Examination as specified under qualification for admission as per the Tamil Nadu Common Admission(TANCA) criteria.
