Established in 1998, Narasaraopeta Engineering College, the first technical education institution in the region, has been excelling in research and entrepreneurship ever since its inception. In the last two decades, it has given hundreds of engineers and leaders to the nation.

With this success, NEC is scripting a new history for the country’s technological prowess and emerging as one of the finest technical colleges in the country. NEC is sponsored by the Gayatri Educational Development Society (GEDS) and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, with NBA and NAAC accreditations. It also has permanent affiliation to JNTU-Kakinada. B.Tech
Pass 10+2 with the minimum of 45% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects
70% admissions done on the basis of AP EAPCET ranks via online counselling
30% admissions done under “B-Category” by management, based on marks in qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent), as per the guidelines of the ANDHRA PRADESH STATE COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION – APSCHE
M.Tech
Have a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university, with the minimum of 50% marks
70% of the admissions done on the basis of GATE /PGECET ranks via online counselling
30% admissions done under our “B-Category” by management based on the merit in qualifying examination (BE/B.Tech/equivalent), as per the guidelines of the ANDHRA PRADESH STATE COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION –APSCHE
MBA
Any Bachelor degree with the minimum of 50% marks
70% of the admissions done on the basis of APICET ranks via online counselling

MCA

For the admissions in convener quota (70%), a notification will be issued by the APSCHE for online counselling. Any vacant seats under convener quota after last phase of counselling will be filled by the college under spot admissions.

For admission into “B-Category” for any course, a notification will be issued by the college. Candidates can apply online as well.

NEC's world class infrastructure and state of the art lab facilities includes- Indo-European Skilling Centre in collaboration with APSSDC and ARC (Applied Robot Control), Germany, Incubation Centre & Venture Development Centre (VDC) in association with i2E North Eastern University, USA and an entrepreneurship cell .

We have a full-fledged transport department functioning in the college that takes care of the commutation of our day-scholars, faculty members and staff. The job of this department is to provide proper bus services to all the off-campus commuters.

The number of buses is also kept flexible and can be increased as per the intake of the students. There are separate buses for men and women. The department makes sure that these buses are comfortable, safe and affordable for all our students. The bus routes, and pick up and drop points are designed by the department’s management and the corresponding core committee based on the students’ ratio of the respective areas. As of now, the bus facility is available from Guntur, Chilakaluripeta, and other local places.

Availing transport facilities is totally optional. The Transport Department of College has the authority to decide the pickup points as per the convenience of the maximum number of users and route feasibility. The college provides this facility for free to the staff.
