Admission Criteria

B.Tech Admission

NRCM offers a 4-year full-time B.Tech program across eight specialisations. Admission is granted through TS-EAMCET counselling for Convener Quota seats. The annual tuition fee is INR 70,000 for the first and second years and INR 68,000 for the third and fourth years, totaling INR 2.76 lakhs. Popular branches include Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & ML, and IT.

MBA Admission

NRCM offers a 2-year full-time MBA program with admission based on TS ICET scores. The tuition fee for the MBA program under the Convener Quota is INR 40,000 per year and INR 80,000 for the complete program. The MBA program is designed to equip students with managerial and analytical skills across various sectors.

Admission Process 

Admissions to B.Tech are done through a common entrance test EAMCET, conducted by the State Government. The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the 10 + 2 or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.

• 70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the EAMCET.

• 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.

• In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on the merit in the ECET under the lateral entry scheme.

- MBA - Admissions Procedure and Criteria

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the MBA is a pass in a UG course (10 + 2 + 3).

• 70% of the seats are allotted based on merit in the ICET.

• 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.

Placement

Pre-Final year students of UG & PG program undergo a mandatory semester long internship in leading organizations as a part of their curriculum. This is a 24 credit course, compulsory for all students where the student is evaluated both by the mentor in the Industry and a faculty advisor from the institute. The training also includes two faculty visits to the organization, both for evaluating the student and fostering Institute Industry Interaction.

The Training & Placement Cell at Narsimha Reddy Engineering College provides personal and career-oriented support to its students. The main motive is to enable the students to effectively cope-up with academics at college and also for successful careers after graduating. Apart from the training provided during the regular course curriculum, the college also provides an extensive training program of about 100 hours during the vacation period after the pre-final year exams to prepare the students for the recruitment process in their final year. The Training & Placement Cell firmly believes in Industry-Institute Interaction. Institution practices a policy of decentralization of authority for efficient look over, maintenance and best utilization of its available resources. The following initiatives are taken to implement the policy.
i. The Institution has a building construction and maintenance committee to supervise the new construction and extensions needed from time to time and also for the overall infrastructural maintenance of the college.
ii. The college has different committees which are made to look after the maintenance of garden, physical infrastructure, Internet and Wi-Fi facility, cycle stand, canteen, parking zone, hostel facilities, sports maintenance and expansion and for library facilities etc.
iii. For the maintenance and repair of computers, the college takes assistance of special technical Experts.
iv. Electrification and water supply system of the institution is being regularly monitored and maintained.
v. Professor in charges deployed to look after the maintenance and repair of the physical infrastructure of the college like Gardens, canteen, sports ground, library, RO water filter maintenance, toilet, girls common room, gymnasium etc.

NRCM’s Central Library stands as a hub of knowledge and innovation, housing an impressive collection of over 32,180 volumes including textbooks, reference books, and handbooks. The library subscribes to more than 66 national journals and offers a vast range of e-resources such as DVDs, CDs, reports, theses, and dissertations. Fully automated and equipped with reprographic facilities, the library ensures seamless access and convenience for both students and faculty. As a modern digital-age library, it provides unrestricted access to information in multiple formats and from diverse sources, fostering an environment ideal for research, innovation, and academic exploration. Keeping pace with technology, the Central Library integrates both print and digital collections. It provides access to premier online databases such as NLIST,NDL, and also holds memberships with DELNET and other professional bodies—creating abundant opportunities for learning and discovery.

Hostel

The college has comprehensive hostel facilities for the students. The college has separate hostel Exclusively for women, in all accommodating more than 150 students. The hostel has Shuttle courts, Table Tennis and a canteen to facilitate the students. The hostel is annexed with a kitchen, to provide food at protected and hygienic environment along with dining halls, which can accommodate more than 150 students at a time.

Healthy and nutritive food is served. The hostel kitchen has facilities for steam cooking with gas stoves. There are three dining halls covering an area of about 600 sq.m for accommodating large number of students at a time.

Physical fitness has been given utmost importance. The college hostel is equipped all sports facilities.

A clinic, with a few beds along with on call Doctor facility for 24 Hours to take care of the health requirements of the hostel students, is also made available. No student should stay in the hostel, without specific permission from the warden, when the college is working. Permission to go out of the Hostel will be given only once in a month on a holiday. They can leave the Hostel after 6.30a.m and should return before 6.00p.m. No student will be allowed to go out based on a phone message. Phone calls from outsiders, other than parents of students, are strictly prohibited.

Transport

NRCM provides 7 buses for the Transport of the Students and Staff members. The College Buses cover most of the parts of Hyderabad twin city. Buses reach the college by 9:15AM and leave the college in the evening by 4:30PM. A Nominal fee is collected towards the Bus fare from the Students.
