The Boovanahally Channakeshava Swamy Vidya Samsthe (R) was established with an ambition to provide better education facilities to the Hassan City and neighboring villages in General Education as well as Professional Education. beginning with Primary School, this Trust has now increased its various Colleges and different courses like B. B. M., B. Com., B. Ed., D. Ed., G. N. M., B. Sc. Nursing. M. Sc. Nursing. B. Pharm, D. Pharm. etc.

A Normal flow of 5000 students are benefited per year from the various courses run by the Trust.

NDRK First Grade College is located in the heart of Hassan city, one of the upcoming cities of Karnataka. It is located 185 Kms. Away from Bangalore and 170 Kms. From Mangalore. It is the District Head quarter known for art and agriculture, a growing business center known for political importance and a good education center. Eligibility for Admission :
Pass in 2 years PUC of Karnataka or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Mysore. Candidates seeking admission to B. Sc., should be a Science Student in the above examination. For B.C.A., candidates should pass in PUC with Mathematics/Computer Science/Business Mathematics/Accountancy OR 3 years Diploma after SSLC/10th Class with Computer Science Engineering/Information Science Engineering or equivalent.
To improve academic standards and to cater the present day needs of the students community, it is proposed to start Communicative English Course to the needy students. A placement cell is there in the college. The students can obtain the assistance of the cell for their career development and placement opportunities. Many meritorious students have obtained appointing through campus interviews.
Discipline :
Students must be punctual and should attend classes every day with their lessons well prepared. Irregular attendance, persistent late coming, habitual idleness, disobedience and disrespect towards members of the faculty, or bad moral influence, justify dismissal. Students on their way to and from the college are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner. The students will be governed by the University rules in regard to minimum attendance, evaluation for award of certificate, Degree etc. Students shall abide by the Statutes, ordinances, Rules and Regulations of the University that are in force from time to time. They shall give due respect to the teachers and staff of the college and shall display decent and cordial behavior to fellow students.
Regulations :
As per the regulations of University of Mysore, all the degree courses are run under semester systems. The students have to appear for University examinations at the end of each semester. Internal Assessment marks out of 20 will be awarded to the students by the concerned class teachers strictly valuating their performances in Class Tests, Home Assignments and Attendance.
Attendance :
Students must put in a minimum of 75% attendance in every subject. There will not be any condonation of attendance. Those who are not having the required attendance will not be allowed to appear for the examinations. Parents/Guardians are requested to keep in touch with the Principal and obtain the details of attendance, progress and conduct of their wards.

Scholership

The candidates must be studying in Classes 11 and 12 at a recognised educational institution in India. Applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class. The annual family income of the applicants from all sources must be less than or equal to₹2,50,000.
