Admission to the UG degree programs:
Have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (XII Std.) in all subjects conducted by the Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Secondary Education in the Examination held in 1980 and thereafter.
Have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (XII Std.) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education in the examination held in 1979 and thereafter in not less than 5 subjects of which English shall be one.
Have passed the Indian School Certificate Examination (12 Years), Conducted by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, in the examination held in 1977 and thereafter in not less than 5 subjects of which English shall be One.
Have passed the Pre-University Examination of any recognised Statutory University or Board, Higher Secondary School or Intermediate Education in India.
Have passed any Examination conducted by the Government of a State or University of Statutory Board, (other than Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Education) under the 10+2 pattern and after 12 years of study in not less than 5 Subjects of which English shall be One.
Have passed the first year examination (Arts & Science) Conducted by the University of Bombay.
Have passed the Intermediate Examination (two years Course) Conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.
Have passed the Pre-University Examination (two years course) conducted by the Board of Pre-University Examination, Govt. of Karnataka.
Have passed the Pre-Technical Examination conducted by the Board of Technical Education and Training, Chennai. Candidates who have passed the Pre-Technical Commerce Course Examination conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training are eligible for admission to the degree course in Humanities only.
Have passed Examination outside India after putting in a course of 12/13 years duration provided that such candidates shall have passed the examination with not less than FIVE subjects including English.
Applicants who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination or any equivalent examination recognized by the University of Madras are eligible for admission to any UG degree programs which will be taught under Credit Based Semester System.
Applicants who have Bacheloru2019s Degrees obtained from the University of Madras or any other Board or University accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate are eligible for admission to any PG degree programs which will be taught under Credit Based Semester System.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
All original certificates including the Community certificate produced by the applicants at the time of admission will be retained at the College office and will not be returned under any circumstances till the student leaves the institution. They are, therefore advised to take more than ten copies of all certificates before submitting the originals to the college.
No foreign student will be admitted to the College unless she/he holds a regular long-term visa issued by an Indian Embassy abroad.
WITHDRAWAL AFTER ADMISSION
A student who has once enrolled and paid the fees for a course is expected to complete the course and must not withdraw from the college. If a student desires to leave the college during the first semester she/he will have to pay the entire fees with special fees etc., for the whole year.
If a student leaves after first month at any time prior to the completion of the course she/he will have to pay the fees for the entire course for 3 years.
Those who wish to take a Transfer certificate will have to apply to the Principal after remitting Rs.100/-. Transfer and other certificates will be issued only after 15 days-from the date of requisition. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
