New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology (NPSBCET)

New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology (NPSBCET) is a private self-financing institution run by the erstwhile Tmt. Abaranjee Ammal Educational Society,Chennai. Established in 2008, it is a premier autonomous Institute located in Tamil Nadu.  The prime objective of the institute is providing quality engineering education for the students studying in all engineering and techological streams and to provide an opportunity to utilize physical facilities, human resources and knowledge resources available in educational institutions to maximize the knowledge acquisition.

NPSBCET is set in a large 10 acre campus in Vengaivasal Main Road, Gowrivakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

NPSBCET is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. 

The Institute offers Degree courses including 6 UG and 3 PG courses. These programs are offerred in Full Time mode. New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology is a premier institute for B.E. / B.Tech, MCA, M.E./M.Tech courses. Candidate can pursue in multiple range of courses Tech with the stream of Engineering, IT & Software. Over the period, NPSBCET has gained expertize through its trained and experienced faculty in all the fields of Engineering and  Electronics. Courses offered by institute are recognized by approving bodies like AICTE. New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology offered courses for 396 seats.

ADMISSION :

Candidates for the admission to the first semester of the Master’s Degree Programme shall be required to have passed an appropriate U.G degree examination of Anna University or any other examination of any University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University as equivalent thereto.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the common entrance examination (TANCET) conducted by the state and selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Details regarding the entrance examination are published in the newspapers well in advance every year. Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Appearing for entrance examination for these seats is a must and this entrance examination is counducted by the college on its campus. Admission forms may be obtained from the Admission office.

The Training and Placement team of New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology is exclusively allocated towards achieving 100% placement and organizing recruitment drives for our students and numerous training programs, workshops, seminars, industry interaction are conducted regularly in parallel to overcome the difficulties in interviews. Entrepreneurship development is also encouraged for new job creators apart from job seekers.

PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES

PLACEMENT TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

An exclusive Training and Placement cell is functioning for providing continuous placement and training assistance to the students during their course of study. For improving their employability skills like soft skills, technical, analytical and logical skills, they are trained by internal trainers and industry experts for whom the institution has entered into MOU with various training partners.

Apart from training, to enhance the innovative thinking and managerial skills of young minds, they are encouraged to organize and participate in various events like paper presentations, technical symposia and project presentations. In technical arena, the students were given a wide range of Value Added Courses. In order to update the students about industry trends and organization culture, we regularly have industry professionals and experts visiting our campus and interacting with our students.

scholarships

 As per our records, New Prince Shri Bhavani College of Engineering and Technology can offer scholarships for the session 2023-24 for various programs. However, you should enquire about scholarships from the college officials. Remember the minimum fee for the program at this institute is Rs.35,000.

Boys Hostel

The college has a separate hostel for boys is provided. The hostel has the capacity to accommodate 200 boys. The spacious mess with a dining hall is provided and kitchen to ensure hassle-free eating for the students. Separate seating arrangements have been made for boys. Study hours are encouraged among students in the morning (5 am - 7 am) and evening (6 pm-7 pm and 9 pm -10.30 pm). The hostel mess is run under the supervision of the Management through a private contractor under the guidance of the Principal and the Administrative officer. Both veg and non-veg are served at the hostel.

Girls Hostel

The college has a separate hostel for girls is provided. The hostel has the capacity to accommodate 200 girls. The spacious mess with a dining hall is provided and kitchen to ensure hassle-free eating for the students. Separate seating arrangements have been made for girls. Library

The College library has well-stocked reference books, national and international journals, magazines, CDs, e-learning journals, etc., All the students are encouraged to make use of the books and the journals from the library. The books are arranged and classified according to the Colon classification system. The library opens from 8. am to 4.45 pm on all working days. The learning center has internet access for the students and the staff members to make use of the articles and the journals. It can accommodate 150 students. The books, journals, and magazines are kept in pertaining to all the departments in the college.

Sports

College students are expected to perform not only in academics but also in sports. Students will be encouraged to participate in sports activities as they wish and particularly in athletics, cricket, tennis, table tennis, chess, volleyball, basketball, etc., The students who can perform exceptionally do well in the game will be sent to tournaments.

I.T Infrastructure

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. Data Structures Lab Operating Systems Lab Database Management Systems Lab Networks Lab Case Tools Lab Service-Oriented Architecture(IT) etc.,

Cafeteria

The college has a canteen on the campus itself. It provides the best food and snacks to the students and the staff members.

Alumni Associations

The college Alumni Association is administered by an Alumni Committee. The alumni association is very active in promoting interactions among the alumni, staff, and the management of NPSBCET. The aim of this platform is to provide an opportunity to reconnect with their Alma-Mater and also lend its support to the college to achieve its cherished goals, vision, and mission.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

Laboratories

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students. Communication system laboratory Microprocessor and Microcontroller laboratory Integrated circuits laboratory Electronic device and circuits laboratory VLSI/ DSP laboratory EDC laboratory etc.,

Auditorium

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

We operate 6 buses that covers nearly all the points from the city especially from Guduvancherry, Redhills, Pammal, Kundrathur and Adyar.
