The Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF), established in 1994, is the trust which has promoted the Nirma University, with a vision to assist higher education and provide excellent educational facilities to the younger generation of India.

Mission
The Institute develops conscientious, innovative and principled leaders and entrepreneurs who shall be committed to the betterment of organizations, operating in complex, technologically enabled, globally connected and fast changing world. The Institute also advances management knowledge and practices and adds value to its multiple stakeholders.

Candidates must have scored 50% of a Bachelor's degree. Students must have passed three years of LLB with marks of 55%. Admission is based on PG CLAT and NonPG CLAT scores; the University will hold the PG ILNU Entrance Examination.

Placements
Nirma University provides full placement support to its students. The placement model at Nirma is a four stage process, involving the Pre-placement activities, Career Guidance, Executing Placement and Post-placement reviews.

In addition to providing placement support to the students, the University facilitates training of students in the organisations during summer and winter vacations, project work for the students in the final year, continuous institute-industry interactions, alumni activities, participation in exhibitions, fairs, seminars and conferences, counselling of the students on job opportunities, facilitating industry visits and inviting distinguished speakers.

The University is one of the most preferred campuses for job placements by leading corporates. It has corporate linkages with over 300 companies which regularly conduct campus recruitment.

Scholarships
To encourage and help meritorious students pursue their study, various scholarship schemes and financial aids are offered by the Institute. Such assistance is subject to the regulatory provisions and fulfilment of the prescribed criteria, as may be decided by the University from time to time.

Financial Aid for Undergraduate Students
Various scholarship options are available for the students to provide financial assistance to the deserving and/or needy students. The renewal of the said scholarship is based on their academic performance and overall conduct during the previous year. Conditions such as a minimum PPI of 7, fulfilling the minimum attendance requirement, not using unfair means in examinations, apply for continuation of the scholarship.

Financial Aid for Postgraduate Students
Financial support is offered to post graduate students by way of a monthly stipend based on merit. First nine GATE qualified students get Rs 12.4K per month and all remaining students get Rs 5K per month. Such students are assigned academic load limited to eight hours per week as decided by the department.

Financial Aid for Doctoral Students
The full time doctoral scholar is given Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for the first two years and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for the third year as per the UGC norms. The fellows are expected to put in 8 hours per week for academic work assigned by the department.

Computing Labs
Computing facilities for the students include a well-equipped lab. A state-of-the-art gigabit network connects every corner of the institute. Every student and faculty member has a networked laptop computer at his or her disposal. High-speed servers run on a variety of platforms to suit all kinds of requirements and support the entire network. A 2.5 Gbps (2500 Mbps) (w.e.f. 01/07/2023) dedicated optic fibre leased line and Wi-Fi hotspots enable round the clock Internet connectivity on the campus. The Institute has also acquired the latest software, namely SPSS v23, the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite, among others. Internet mail servers are also available to students and faculty around the clock.

Library Resource Centre (LRC)
The library provides access to a wide range of management and business information sources that include leading National and International Business Periodicals, in addition to an impressive collection of Business Databases, Digitized Corporate Annual Reports, and CDs / DVDs. The library has over 31,005 books (including 617 E-books from Springer).

Hostels
The Institute has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are three hostel buildings located on the campus. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The hostels have sports and other recreational facilities such as cable TV, a common room for interaction, etc. All hostel rooms have Internet connectivity round the clock. The hostel mess is outsourced to a professional caterer.

CCTV System
The university has installed a CCTV subservience Monitoring System in all the academic areas of the university covering the areas such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, studios, and reading rooms. The other areas under surveillance include common places viz. building entrances, corridors, parking, canteens, etc. The cameras are closely monitored at an appropriate level by the University authorities.

The college has a Transport facility for the students.
