The college campus is spread over an area of more than 15 acres of greenery. Noorul Islam College of Arts and Science (NICAS) was started in 2001 by the Noorul Islam Educational Trust, being affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, and accredited by NAAC with 'B' Grade with a CGPA of 2.66.

The College is located in the rural back drop of serene Veli hills to cater the needy students of the locality and the neighboring state of Kerala. The main objective of this institution affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli to enable students to acquire industrial and employable skills and to develop human resources with right competencies.

Noorul Islam College (NICAS) Admissions

Noorul Islam College enrolls the student on the basis of a merit list with the rule of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The application process is online. 

1. Firstly, candidates need to the official website of Noorul Islam College.
2.  Click on the ’NICAS Admission’ option for registration in UG and PG courses.
3. After that Online Registration window appear on the screen. Candidate select either UG Course or PG course. According to that registration form will be opened on the right-hand side and before filling the registration candidate should have ‘sign in’ from his/her Email-id.
4. After sign in candidates can start filling the form. Fill in all the fields which are required(*).
5. When the Examination Mark Statement is issued after the 10th working day final date of application is fixed by the college.
6. The candidate should have submitted the Interview Card bearing the requisite Postage stamp with the full address of the applicant along with the application form.
7. Selected candidates will be informed of their selection and they should appear for the interview process on the campus with their parents on the date and time mentioned on the interview card.
8. The candidate must be carried all the original documents at the time of the interview.
9. If the selection of a candidate is confirmed then immediately he/she needs to pay the fee prescribed by the college. In case of any problem in paying the fee, admission will be canceled.

A candidate who has not passed Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination needs the approval of the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.

Students are only allowed to attend the classes if they have paid all the fees such as Tuition fee+ other institute fees.

Note: Application form for admission can be obtained from the college office it’s fee is INR 100/- for UG courses and INR 150/- for PG courses.

Placement :

Noorul Islam College of Arts and Science have a Placement and Career Guidance Cell. The Cell organizes periodic facilities of campus interviews for final year and former students of the college. It is also framed with a motive of proper guidance for students in pursuing future studies and proper careers. It aims to provide opportunity to all the students for getting jobs as soon as they complete their graduation. Placement cell comprises the Placement officer, all final year class counselors, and Staff & Students representatives.

      A good number of students got selected for various organizations from the  year 2004. A campus interview is  conducted  every year during the month of March by various companies.
