Admission to NSS College of Engineering (NSSCE), Palakkad is conducted according to the norms prescribed by the Government of Kerala, the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), and AICTE. Admission to the B.Tech programmes is primarily based on the candidate's performance in the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical (KEAM) entrance examination, followed by the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by CEE Kerala. Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by the Government of Kerala and KTU. The majority of seats are filled through the Government merit quota, while a limited number of seats are available under the management quota as per the prevailing admission regulations. Lateral Entry admissions to the third semester of B.Tech are offered to eligible diploma holders through the centralized admission process. Admission to M.Tech programmes is based on valid GATE scores, and eligible non-GATE candidates may be considered as per DTE/KTU guidelines if vacancies remain. Ph.D. admissions are conducted in accordance with the regulations of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Applicants must complete the online application process, participate in counselling or seat allotment, submit the required original documents for verification, and pay the prescribed admission fee to confirm their admission.

Admission Process

• Candidates must register for the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical (KEAM) entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.
• Appear for the KEAM examination and obtain a valid rank.
• Register for the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by CEE Kerala.
• Select NSS College of Engineering and the preferred B.Tech branch during choice filling.
• Seats are allotted based on KEAM rank, reservation policy, and seat availability.
• 85% of the seats are filled through the Government Merit Quota, while 15% are filled under the Management Quota from candidates with valid KEAM qualifications.
• Report to the college with the required original documents, complete certificate verification, and pay the prescribed fee to confirm admission.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pass in 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination.
• Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Secure a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry together (or as prescribed by the Government of Kerala/KTU).
• Must qualify in the KEAM Entrance Examination.

M.Tech
