Admission Procedure

• The candidate needs to register first using application link provided
  
• After successful registration, the candidate may take the online entrance examination on any date and time convenient to you.
  
• Based on candidate’s performance in the entrance examination and his BE results, the call letter will be sent.
  
• Upon receiving the call letter, candidate may pay an initial payment of ₹5,000 to confirm his / her seat. Kindly note that this initial payment will be adjusted towards your first semester tuition fees.
  
• The remaining fees can be paid within 30 days or before 1st September 2026, whichever is earlier.

Postgraduate Degree in Tool Engineering

Admission Process

• Candidates first complete the online application for the NTTF School of Postgraduate Studies.

Eligibility

• Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics, Marine Engineering, IIIE or an equivalent qualification.
• The selection is based on undergraduate engineering performance plus the NTTF entrance examination.
• There is no upper age limit.
• The programme is particularly suited to graduates interested in tool design, manufacturing, CAD-CAM-CAE and precision engineering.

Postgraduate Degree in Product Design & Engineering

Admission Process

• Complete the NTTF postgraduate application form.
• Appear for the NTTF entrance examination.
• Candidates are evaluated on their B.E./B.Tech. academic performance together with entrance-test performance.
• Shortlisted applicants complete the counselling and admission formalities.
• Submit the required documents and pay the applicable fees to confirm the seat.

Eligibility

• Candidates should possess a B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial & Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Automobile, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Marine, IIIE, Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• A Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent qualification is also listed among the eligible backgrounds.
• Selection is based on B.E./B.Tech. performance plus the NTTF entrance examination.
• There is no upper age limit. An aptitude for sketching, drawing and spatial thinking is particularly useful for this programme.

Postgraduate Diploma in Tool Design

Admission Process

• Submit the NTTF postgraduate application.
• Appear for the NTTF entrance examination.
• Selection is based on B.E./B.Tech. performance and entrance-examination performance.
• Complete counselling/document verification after selection.
• Pay the prescribed fees and complete registration for the one-year PG Diploma programme.

Eligibility

• Candidates should have B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial & Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Automobile, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Marine, IIIE, Polymer Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Candidates must satisfy the NTTF admission and entrance-test requirements.
• There is no upper age limit.
• After completing PGDTD, eligible students can pursue lateral entry into the third semester of PGTE.
