There has been a clear focus and an adamant execution on the objectives of all departments; Oxford College began its relentless and perdurable journey in the year 2006 with the strength of BBA – 72 students , BCA – 68 Students and B.Com being 51 students in the year 2008. We are happy to announce that, there has been a gradual increase in the strength. The Department of M.Com began in 2013 with the promising figure of 40 student.

At Oxford College Hubballi, our aim goes beyond turning out just successful graduates. Our determination is to hone and refine every aspect of the student’s personality and impart to them virtues that will shape them not just into fine graduates, but create dynamic personalities who will truly contribute to creating a better world around us. SL NO. NAME OF THE COURSE MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY

1 Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) Any student who has secured a minimum of 40% in the PUC (or equivalent like job oriented diploma course, etc) (35% for SC, ST and Cat-I student) examination by that State Board is eligible for admission to the BBA course. In addition the colleges may hold entrance examinations, if necessary, to assess the aptitude of the students.

2 Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) Any student who has passed PUC- II Science or Commerce securing a minimum of 40% of marks OR any student who has passed JODC or Diploma in Eng. (of three year duration of Govt. of Karnataka) with minimum of 40% of marks in aggregate in all the semesters/years can apply. student with an Arts or commerce background too can apply.

3 Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Sslc + 2 passed candidate with accountancy,commerce/business studies,economics/computer science,statics/business mathematics. The permitted intake of B.Com students is 200 per college to facilitate personalized attention and care.

4 Master of Commerce (M.Com) A candidate who has passed the B.Com degree examination from a recognized university. A candidate who has secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate in commerce subjects in all the examinations of the B.Com course

The College Management believes in overall support to the students. It encourages them to focus more on education and co-curricular activities by providing financial assistance to the deserving students. Scholarship is given to assist and encourage students towards Education. Students who core more than 90% in their Previous Examinations are awarded Merit Scholarship on their admission to our Institution. Sports students are awarded fee concession for their National and International Participation achievement to the extent of 50% to 100% fee concession for their Achievements. Fee concession is also provided to students belonging to economically weaker section on approval from the trust.
