P.A. College of Engineering (PACE) was established in the year 2000 under the aegis of PAET, with an aim to provide a career-oriented professional education and to produce technically competent engineers with moral and ethical values. The institution is dedicated to promote an effective learning environment that encourages excellence and diversity in thoughts and endeavour.

PACE is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Karnataka and is certified to ISO 9001-2008.

P.A. College of Engineering which instituted with a total intake of 240 students- 60 students each in four disciplines of engineering, has now grown in leaps and bounds. Over the 15 years, new undergraduate programs, postgraduate programmes in various branches of engineering, MBA courses and Research programmes were added to meet the growing demand in the industry and the intake has been increased to 450 in Engineering courses. Teaching and research facilities at PACE are already among the best and continues to improve. Well qualified faculty with international reputation, a well developed campus and outstanding infrastructure makes PACE much sought after for technical and management education. The institution regularly invites experts from industry and academia for interaction with students. PACE Mangalore Admission Process

PA College of Engineering offers admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. PACE Mangalore admission is offered to B.E, M.B.A, M.Tech, M.Sc and Ph.D programmes in engineering, computer application and IT, sciences, management and business administration streams. For PACE Mangalore admission to the B.E programme, candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- KCET. As per the PACE Mangalore B.E admission criteria, candidates meeting the cutoff are required to participate in the KCET counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment.

PACE Mangalore admission to the MBA programme is done on the basis of candidates’ performance in Karnataka PGCET/ KMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT. Admission to the M.Tech programme is offered based on candidates’ scores in Karnataka PGCET or GATE. PA College of Engineering admission to M.Sc and Ph.D is done on the basis of candidates' performance in an entrance exam ‘ULRAT’ followed by interview (University Level Research Aptitude Test) conducted by VTU.

PACE Mangalore Scholarship

PA College of Engineering, Mangalore provides scholarships to meritorious students. PACE Mangalore scholarships are given to meritorious students and the scholarship amount depends on the marks scored by candidates in core subjects in PUC/plus two exams. To avail PACE Mangalore scholarship, candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the institute and complete the scholarship application form on the college website. PA College of Engineering, Mangalore supports the candidates with all the necessary documents required to avail educational loan facility from the banks of their choice. Infrastructure :-

The College campus has been designed by renowned architects from Mumbai, M/s Upalker Sadekar. Atmost care has been taken to have every room look out into open landscaped areas. It is designed to connect the main college building to the administrative block.

The class rooms have been well designed and adequately ventilated. Well equipped computer labs are open to the students and staff. Training sessions for hardware and software are regularly conducted. All labs are network-enabled and connected to the internet through a centralized server room with a 20Mbps dedicated BSNL line. Well equipped separate workshops have been assigned for sheet metal fabrication, welding, carpentry and turning/fitting.

TRANSPORT - PA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, MANGALORE

College bus facility is available for students who commute daily. The transport department runs 20 buses to various routes in Mangalore, Surathkal and Kasargod region and ensures safe and hassle free transport to all students and staff. The facility is made available to the students at reasonable charges depending upon routes and pickup/drop points opted by them. The students have to register for the transport facility at the time of admission and renew the same every year. Separate bus facility for girls is available for their safe and comfortable travel.
