Pachaiyappa's College, Chennai is the result of an act of philanthropy of its progenitor, Pachaiyappa Mudaliar, who was a financier and merchant by the age of 22. Inspired and motivated by the preciousness and large-heartedness of the benevolent founder.

Eligibility Criteria
A candidate seeking admission to an undergraduate course (UG) must have passed the Higher Secondary (+2) Examination of Tamilnadu or an equivalent examination recognized by the University of Madras.

For admission to B.Com-related degree courses, the candidate should have studied Commerce and Accountancy in the Academic Stream and Accountancy in the Vocational Stream of the Higher Secondary Course.

Placement Experience: The students are eligible to attend campus interviews in the final semester of their final year. The most visited company to our college is Alpha tech Solutions. They have proposed a salary of rs 15000 per month after the degree completion. Mostly 40•/• of the students will get selected in the placement interview. 

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions: Scholarship they given for entire three years. Each year we getting 3k to 5k. But it's coming from government and it's only for Sc/St caste students. There is no loan facility from the college.
