Padmavani Educational and Charitable Trust was established in the year 2005 by the estimable brothers Mr. K. Duraisamy and Mr.K.Sathiyamoorthy. It stepped into the field of education with the aim of the upliftment of feminine education. Mrs. Padmavathy Duraisamy and Mrs.Esaivani Sathiyamoorthy, who seem to be the backbone of the trust, thrive to transform the young seedlings into an ever green grove. The trust also stands as a light house for the unaware feminine winds. Now the young & dynamic Directress Ms. S. Nivitha Sathiyamoorthy imparts her innovative ideas for the better education and women empowerment. The trust also stands as a light for the unaware feminine minds and extends its helping hands to the minds longing for education.

Padmavani Arts and Science College for Women during its establishment, the college had a humble beginning with 65 students, 7 faculty members and 5 Under Graduate programme which has now successfully completed 18 years of its presence in the field of higher education with 3363 students, 168 faculty members, 118 non-teaching staff, 20 Under Graduate and 11 Post Graduate 8 M.Phil and 2 Ph.D academic & research programme with a built in area encompassing four- three storied buildings.

The college has well-qualified and talented faculties who regularly upgrade themselves to enrich teaching, research and outreach process. The code of professional ethics guide all the stake holders of the college about its motto, commitment and sustainability.
