  Panimalar Institute of Technology (PIT), established in the year 2000, is a Christian Minority Institution of Technical Education functioning under Jaisakthi Educational Trust, intended for the promulgation of profound knowledge among the ambitious student community in Engineering and Technology. It is is a well-establishd, private, unaided college located in Thiruvallur, Chennai,Tamil Nadu, India having a reputation in not only imparting high quality education but also in emphasizing discipline.  Founded to rapid the nation’s industrial revolution, our students have invented fundamental technologies, launched new industries, and created thousands of jobs.

Scholarships Facilities at Panimalar Institute of Technology, [PIT] Chennai:

  Panimalar Institute of Technology offers the scholarships for its students

  Students whose parental annual income is less than 72000 are eligible 

Sports Scholarship:

  Panimalar Institute of Technology provides this scholarship for students who excel in sports

  Only students who had represented District/ National/ International level match are eligible for these scholarships

Rank holders Scholarships:

  The student with 1st rank will be awarded a waiver of  Rs. 25000/-

  The student with 2nd rank will be awarded a waiver of Rs. 15000/-

  The student with 3rd rank will be awarded a waiver of Rs. 10000/-

  The campus life at Panimalar is wholesome, easy and fun filled. It provides the students a judicious mix of education and enjoyment. The Panimalar campus offers to both the day scholars and those who stay in hostel a complete suite of facilities that are very self sufficient. Thus the student has absolutely no need to step out of the college premises for anything.

  To promote a spirit of continuous learning among students in all engineering disciplines, Panimalar Institute of Technology assures peaceful and enriching hours in the library. One of the major highlights of Panimalar Institute of Technology is its 2239 sq.m. air conditioned central library that has a seating capacity of 136. It has about 29556 volumes and 7382 titles of books that value around Rs.1.44 Crores.

 
ATM Facilities

  Panimalar Campus provides a ATM facility for the benefit of students and staff members. It enables them to withdraw and access cash in a quick and convenient way.

Mess

  Every effort has been made to provide congenial ambience to the students and staff. Many students in and around Tamil Nadu stay in the Institute’s hostel and study here. So it is well and good if homely atmosphere is provided to them.The mess facility is also one such.

  Panimalar Institute of Technology has 50 buses which operate from various places including suburbs to the college making it convenient for the students and staff reach the college well on time. On the return journey also, the buses take the staff and students back to home so that the academic preparation for the next day can be done fast.
