PES College of Engineering, commonly known as PESCE, is a government-aided engineering institution located in Mandya, Karnataka. Established in 1962, the college was founded by the People’s Education Society (PES), with the vision of providing quality technical education to rural and semi-urban students. The college is situated in Mandya, Karnataka, along the Bangalore–Mysore Highway, making it easily accessible from both cities. Admission Criteria

B.E.

Admission Process

• Complete the B.E. admission/application process through the prescribed admission authority.

• Admission can be through KCET/KEA or COMEDK, depending on the applicable seat category.

• Management/NRI admissions, where applicable, follow government and institutional regulations.

• Submit the required academic, identity and category documents during verification.

• Complete fee payment and college enrollment after seat allotment.

Eligibility

• Pass 10+2/PUC or equivalent examination.

• Physics and Mathematics must be studied as compulsory subjects.

• Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Electronics or another prescribed technical vocational subject may be taken as the third subject.

• Generally, 45% aggregate in the relevant subjects is required for General Merit candidates and 40% for eligible reserved categories, subject to current Karnataka rules.

M.Tech

Admission Process

• Complete the M.Tech application through the prescribed admission route.

• Candidates can be considered through PGCET/GATE as applicable.

• Participate in the required counselling/selection process.

• Complete document verification and fee payment.

Eligibility

• Pass B.E./B.Tech in the relevant discipline from a recognized university/institution.

• Minimum 50% aggregate marks is generally prescribed.

• SC/ST/Category-I candidates are eligible with 45%, subject to applicable Karnataka rules.

• Candidates seeking admission through PGCET should appear for the prescribed entrance examination; GATE-qualified candidates receive the applicable consideration.

MCA

Admission Process

• Apply through the prescribed PG admission procedure.

• Candidates should obtain the required PGCET qualification/rank where applicable.

• Participate in counselling/seat allotment.

• Complete document verification and fee payment.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

• Candidates must satisfy the prescribed mathematics/computer-related subject requirements.

• Meet the minimum percentage prescribed by the applicable regulations.

• Admission is subject to VTU, Karnataka and AICTE requirements. PESCE's MCA is a two-year programme and is AICTE-approved.

MBA

Admission Process

• Apply for MBA admission through the applicable PG admission route.

• Candidates can be admitted through the prescribed entrance/counselling process, including Karnataka PGCET where applicable.

• Complete document verification and selection formalities.

• Pay the prescribed fees and confirm enrollment.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

• Candidates must satisfy the prescribed minimum percentage.

• A valid PGCET/other accepted entrance qualification may be required depending on the admission category.

• The MBA is a two-year full-time programme approved by AICTE and affiliated with VTU.

Scholarships are available for meritorious and economically weaker students. Government-funded schemes and fee concessions are also provided to eligible candidates.

Our institution encourages all students and staff members to make best use of the library that has been carefully built up since the inception of the college. PES College of Engineering central library has emerged as a centre of attraction with its modern library features, updated collections. It has crossed many milestones, & developmental stages, by its continuous resource enrichment, continuous infrastructural developments, and On-time implementation of new technologies since from its establishment in the year 1962.

P.E.S. College of engineering was established in 1962. The college is providing quality education to the students since its inception. The college has got all the student amenities like hostels, canteen, transportation and sports facilities. The college canteen is run in a separate building within the college campus and it is catering to the food requirement of the students, the canteen is fully furnished and it can accommodate 250 students at a time, there is a separate wing for boys & girls.

It has impressive state-of-the-art infrastructure for sports, comprising of most advanced, sophisticated and modern sports facilities.
