Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) was established in 1990 by visionary Late. Shri. Shankarrao B. Patil, Late. Smt. Lilatai Shankarrao Patil, Shri. Dnyaneswar P. Landage, Shri. Vitthal S. Kalbhor, Shri. Shantaram D. Garade, Late. Shri. Bhaijan Kazi with an idea of providing quality education from K.G. to P.G. Its sole mission was aimed at serving society, the industry and all stakeholders through value-inculcating, quality education in the area of schooling, as well as professional tutelage in the fields of engineering, management and computer applications.

PCET has always been committed to its mission by creating, communicating, preserving and applying knowledge, art and academic values.

At the campus at Akurdi, Pune, near 7,200 students are being groomed in specialised courses like Engineering, MBA, MCA & PGDM by professional and passionate instructors. The campuses at Ravet are school to 1,200 would-be graduates at the College of Engineering, around 800 pupils at the Junior College, and approximately 2,500 students at the Public School, all amounting to a total of 11,700-odd students.

ADMISSION PROCESS :

Like most colleges, the admission process of PCCOE is based on Entrance Exams.

• For B.Tech. programme, the candidate must have a valid score in MHT CET
• For M.Tech. programme, the candidate must have valid score in GATE
• For MCA programme, the candidate must have to qualify in MAH MCA CET.

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE) was established in year 1999 and located in Pune city of Maharashtra state. PCCOE is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, formerly University of Pune.

Coming to placement at PCCOE, KPIT, Wipro, Cap Gemini, Mercedes Benz, Ritzy, TCS etc. are top recruiters who had visited the campus for recruiting students. 162 offers were there for the batch 2019 with a package of more than 4 Lakh. Around 100+ companies visited every year and select students from different courses.

PCCOE B.Tech.  Eligibility

Candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Maths as well as Physics as mandatory subjects along with any one subject (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical, Vocational subjects) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates).

Diploma in Engineering and Technology with minimum 50 % marks and 45% for backward class categories & persons with disability belonging to state Maharashtra only Or

Passed degree of B.Sc. from recognized University with at least 50% marks

PCCOE B.Tech. Selection Criteria

• The selection in this course is on the basis of score obtained in MHT-CET entrance exam.
• Applicants have to register themselves for counselling and lock their seat for admission.

PCCOE M.Tech. Eligibility

• Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology field with minimum 50% marks (45% for categories of backward classes and persons with disability belonging to state Maharashtra only)
• Obtained score in GATE conducted by IIT

PCCOE M.Tech. Selection Criteria

• The selection criteria of this course is on the basis of score obtained in GATE
• Candidates have to register themselves for counselling and lock their seat for admission.
• Selected candidates can take admission with required documents.

Placements :

We, at PCCoE try to connect with as many companies as possible for placement of students. We enjoy the advantage of getting cream layer of students at our institutes. Our Alumni are also performing well in the industries where they are placed. Hence we could get the recognition from industries. We believe that the backbone of our T&P Cell is our student volunteers of T&P Cell who work very hard with full enthusiasm to conduct the recruitment drives smoothly. All these volunteers develop their management skills, interpersonal skills and above all Leadership skills. All such student volunteers become Managers/ Project leaders earlier in their career as compared to their other counterparts because of these skills. We would like to assure Industry, Students and Parents that we will not leave any stone unturned to make all our stakeholders Happy and Proud.

1. PCET has placed more than 22,000 students from across India in the last few years through On Campus/ Off campus/ Pool Campus Drives.
2. Around 600 Recruitment Drives are generally conducted every year.

d) KPIT Technologies recruited 183 PCET students of 2015-2016 batch.

a) Total 658 Placement offers in first 30 Companies for PCET students in the Academic Year 2019-20.

b) 207 PCET 2019-20 Batch students got selected in Capgemini (With Salaries 6.8 Lacs per year & 3.8 Lacs per year).

c) 128 PCET 2019-20 Batch students got selected in Accenture (With Salaries 6.5 Lacs per year & 4.5 Lacs per year).

d) TCS Selected 125, 104, 101 & 123 PCET students respectively from 2011 to 2015.

e) First three companies (KPIT Technologies 155, Capgemini 37 & Tech Mahindra 33) recruited 225 students of PCET in the year 2016-2017.

f) 59 PCET 2019-20 Batch students got selected in Core E&TC company KPIT Technologies.

g) 50 PCET 2019-20 Batch Students got Selected in TCS (with Salaries 6.5 Lacs, 3.5 Lacs per year)

h) 46 PCET 2019-20 Batch Students got selected in Persistent (With Salaries 8.4, 6.4 & 4.4 Lacs per year).

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune offers scholarship economically weaker students in order to support their studies and fulfill their basic needs and tuition fees under the scheme of Karmaveer Bahurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme which was approved by the University of Pune. As per the record of past few years, more than 40 students of PCCoE College have enrolled under this scheme. This scheme has been very beneficial for the students of poor background.

PCCOE Pune Facilities

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering provides facilities like boys hostel, girls hostel, library, sports, gym, cafeteria, auditorium, medical/hospital, wi-fi, IT infrastructure, laboratories, etc. Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering facilities of hostels are available for both boys and girls students. The library has numerous resources to support the learning and research activities of the students and faculty members. Students at PCCoE are encouraged to participate in various sports for their physical and mental well-being. Other PCCoE facilities like gym, medical clinic, etc are available on-campus. The college has a huge auditorium and can accommodate a large audience.

  The college provides all basic facilities in the hostels like uninterrupted supply of water, electricity, well-furnished rooms, modern appliances, etc. 24X7 security systems are also installed.

  PCCoE girls hostel facilities include well-furnished and well-ventilated rooms, modern appliances, free wi-fi and many more. The safety and security of the hostels is taken care of by the hostel wardens.

  PCCoE Alumni Association was formed in the year 2005. We are proud of PCCoE Alumni working in various reputed organizations across the globe. The PCCoE Alumni Association has been registered with registrar of society’s as per society registration act 1860.

  The entire campus is enabled with wi-fi. Students and faculty members can access the facility at any time from anywhere inside the campus.

• Laboratories

  The college has departmental laboratories. The laboratories are equipped with modern instruments and apparatus to help the students in practicals.

Bus Facility

We have a 4 buses to provide to-and Fro transportation from all major parts of Pune City. These buses ply from morning to evening as per the Institute time-schedule. It is available to all with a payment decided by the Institute. The Institute bus facility runs on no loss no profit basis with the payment collected from students and staff members of this institute. To run the buses smoothly, the institute has formed the vehicle committee of following staff members and student representative.
