PRIME group of Institutions is one of the leading Groups comprising of Industrial Training Institute, College of Education, Teacher Training Institute, Nursery and Primary School and College of Architecture & Planning operated under one umbrella “PRIME”. The main purpose of running this Group of Institution in a rural area like Kilvelur, is to cater to socially & economically deprived people who are lagging in literacy to avail education and move up in society.  Prime College of Architecture and Planning is managed by Prime Educational Trust and was established in the year 2011.  PCAP is a Private, Aided college.

PCAP is spread over and area of 3.61 acres of land close to Kilvelur main bus-stop and a short walk away from the main bazaar. The campus is located on Koohur Main Road, (Near Velankanni) Kilvelur , Nagapattinam, Tamilnadu, India.  It is 14.1 kms away from Nagapattinam new bus stand and 12 kms away from Nagapattinam railway junction

Prime College of Architecture and Planning is Approved by Council of Architecture, New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

PCAP offers Full time Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program for 80 seats annually.  The qualifying Exam for admission into PCAP is NATA, JEE Main.

As we are all aware that Architecture course is unique of its kind and is a combination of Art and Science. Creativity and Imagination are fused together to produce monuments forever. This is a five year course with semester system. Course is approved by Council of Architecture and is affiliated to Anna University. This course is basically more of practical application oriented. Architecture has to do with planning, designing and constructing form, space and ambience to reflect functional, technical, social, environmental and considerations. It requires the creative manipulation and coordination of materials and technology~ and of light and shadow. Often, conflicting requirements must be resolved. The practice of Architecture also encompasses the pragmatic aspects of realizing buildings and structures, including scheduling, cost estimation and construction administration. Documentation produced by architects, typically drawings, plans and technical specifications, defines the -and/or of a building or other kind of that is to be or has been constructed.

 As per our records, Prime College of Architecture and Planning can offer scholarships for the session 2023-24 for various programs. However, you should enquire about scholarships from the college officials. Remember the minimum fee for the program at this institute is Rs.250,000.
