Prince Dr.K.Vasudevan College of Engineering and Technology, one of the leading colleges of technology in Chennai as well as one of the fastest growing institutions of higher learning in India started out as a modest institute in 2009.  It is promoted by the Prince Educational Society which was established in 1978 by its Founder - Chairman Dr.K.Vasudevan, M.A., B.Ed., Ph.D, primarily to serve the needs of the local community. The setting up of Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nanganallur, Chennai, helped in the evolution of Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Madipakkam, Chennai, which met this need. In order to serve the poor and the needy, he started a Tamil Medium School as well. Today this Educationist, Industrialist and Pioneer, heads an Arts and Science College and an Engineering College in Chennai. These Institutions aim at imparting quality education in the fields of Engineering, Arts and Science.

Prince Dr. K Vasudevan College of Engineering and Technology is situated in 65 acres of sprawling, pristine and verdant atmosphere on the outskirts of Chennai providing a perfect and conducive ambience just perfect for the purpose of learning and education. The college is located on the Mambakkam - Medavakkam Main Rd, Ponmar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Prince Dr. K Vasudevan College of Engineering and Technology offers 4 UG and 1 PG program in the field of Engineering and Technology.  The courses include B.E (in 3 Disciplines) and B>Tech (in 1 Discipline) as well as  an M.E in CSE.

Parents also can have peace of mind while their wards are out in the college and need not worry about the traffic and driving problem.
  
• A huge fleet of buses operates for the various destinations for students and staff. The college has employed qualified and experienced drivers .
  
• Bus/transport schedule is designed in such a way that buses will reach the campus 10 minutes before the commencement of academic work of the institution. In the evening the buses will leave the college as per the schedule.
