Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College (Autonomous) PSVEPC is promoted by the Prince Educational Society. The College was started in the year 2001. The Prince Educational Society was established in 1978 by its Founder - Chairman, Dr K Vasudevan, M.A., B.Ed., Ph.D Dr V Vishnu Karthik is the Vice Chairman, Prince Group of Institutions. The primary objective of the College is to to meet the challenges and demand of the highly advanced scientific and technological fields and to prepare to meet the man power needs of the world.

PSVPEC is built on a huge 25 Acres campus situated at Mambakkam - Medavakkam Main Rd, Ponmar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The College is on the outskirts of Chennai City well connected by public transport. Chennai Central Railway Station is 33 Kms and Chennai International Airport is 22 Kms from the College Campus.

PSVPEC is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the College and given it the highest grading of A++ The National Board of Accreditation also has accredited the Academic Programs of the College. The College is ISO 9001:2015 compliant. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked the College in the 251-300 Band for its B.E and B.Tech programs.

PSVPEC has various UG and PG Courses to offer. It currently has B.E (5), B.Tech (1) and M.E (1) in various disciplines apart from MBA (1) The UG Courses authorised Intake per year is 480 Students while it is 18 for M.E and 60 for MBA. Admission Procedure 

Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College (PSVPEC), located in Chennai, offers admissions to undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech) and postgraduate (M.E./MBA) programs. The admission process involves submitting an application form, available both online and offline, along with a non-refundable fee of ₹200. Applicants must provide attested copies of their qualifying examination mark sheets and proof of age. For B.E./B.Tech programs, candidates should have completed 10+2 with at least 35% marks, and admissions are based on merit.

Transport

To ensure safe travel the college has its own fleet of outsourced college buses designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of students. The Transport Service (optional) is operated by the college and a separate transport fee is charged for this. For supervision and monitoring, transport supervisor is on board throughout the journey.
