Priyadarshini Dental College and Hospital is a reputed private Dental Institution in Thiruvallur, Chennai established in the year 2007 as a part of the Indira Educational and Charitable Trust under the dynamic leadership of its Chairman Mr. V.G. Raajendran and Managing Director Mrs. Indira Raajendran.   Aggrieved to see the widespread prevalence of oral diseases, lack of oral hygiene and lack of awareness amongst the largely backward population of Thiruvallur District, it was decided to establish a world-class Dental College at Thiruvallur that will be owned and operated by the Trust.  One of the primary objectives of the Trust is to offer high quality and affordable health and dental care to the people of Thiruvallur.  Today the institution has developed into an ultramodern and state-of-the-art Dental College that has become a trailblazer in the field of Dental Education.

Priyadarshini Dental College campus is located in 8.18 acres of land in V.G.R Gardens, V.G.R Nagar, Pandur, Near Thiruvallur Collectorate Office Thiruvallur Taluk & District, Tamil Nadu.

PDCH is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and is recognised by Dental Council of India, New Delhi.

The courses offered by the premiere dental institution, PDCH, are UG and PG programs in the field of Dentistry.  The college offers BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with an intake of 100 candidates annually) and MDS Master of Dental Surgery.  For admission into the BDS course, the Candidates must qualify for the NEET UG entrance exam conducted by NTA.  For admission into MDS, Candidates must qualify for the NEET MDS entrance exam conducted by NBEMS.

Admission
As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act -1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 and as amended from time to time, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) 2023 (NEET (UG) - 2024) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Indian Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
