Priyadarshini Engineering College, the flagship of Jai Barath Charitable Trust, was established in 1995 at Vaniyambadi in Vellore district of Tamilnadu.  It is a renowned self-financed co-education institute dedicated to engineering education and technological advancement.  PEC is committed to the vision of developing itself into a multi campus, Inter - disciplinary Institution of Excellence through symbiotic efforts and innovative practices of management, and faculty to provide the student with an ambient academic environment, ideal for the pursuit of knowledge and career development

Priyadarshini Engineering College is located in 31 acres of land in the rural area of Chettiyappanur, Vaniyambadi, Kalendira, Vellore Dist.,Tamil Nadu.

The college has been approved by AICTE - All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and permanently affiliated to Anna University, Chennai

Priyadarshini Engineering College offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, fostering a conducive environment for academic excellence and research. These programs are offered in Full Time mode. PEC offers a wide range of courses like B.E. / B.Tech, MBA/PGDM, MCA, M.E./M.Tech with the stream of Engineering, Business & Management Studies, IT & Software. Over the period, the College has gained expertize through its trained and experienced faculty in almost all the fields of Engineering, viz. Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Communications, Power, etc. Courses offered by institute are recognized by approving bodies like AICTE.  Priyadarshini Engineering College offered courses for 666 seats.  The accepted entrance exams for UG is TNEA and for PG it is TANCET / CEETA.

Training and Placement Cell of PEC sincerely believes in comprehensively training the students to face the corporate world and have a successful professional career. The training programs comprises of a three stage process to train the students in order to make them ready for the industry and develop the students to face the corporate world.  Special emphasis is made to train the students to meet the requirements in the field of information technology.

You must have scored a minimum of 50% marks overall in class 12 or equivalent exam (45% for applicants who are SC or ST). Once you have satisfied the basic eligibility criteria, you can submit an application for admission to the college. You will be selected for an interview after submitting your application.

ABOUT THE PLACEMENT AND TRAINING

Fee Waiver Scheme

The State Government has started a fee waiver scheme to help the economically poor but meritorious students. Further information regarding this can be obtained from the office of the Registrar.

Education Loans

Getting Education is no longer an insurmountable problem these days. Education loans are available to the needy and deserving students from the Nationalized Banks at reasonable rates of interest. Theses loans are repayable after the completion of the degree/diploma.

Financial Help

It is a motto with the management of our Group, “Poverty would not be allowed to stand in the way of the completion of the education of meritorious students. Such students are generously helped. Academically intelligent and poor students to acquire higher education by giving them financial help in the form of tuition fee waiver. Relaxation in tuition fee is also given to merit position holders in the qualifying examinations/competitive examinations and position holders in the University examinations. The parents of meritorious students are also honoured along with the students in the annual functions of the Colleges.
