Providence College of Engineering & School of Business (PCESB) is a private self-financing higher education institution located in Chengannur, Alappuzha district, Kerala. Established in 2015, the institution was founded by Late Shri George Mathew (Monachan) under the MGM Society with the vision of providing world-class technical and management education. The admission process at Providence College of Engineering & School of Business, Chengannur is conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), and the Government of Kerala. Admissions to B.Tech programmes are primarily based on the candidate's performance in the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, followed by the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). A limited number of seats are also available under the Management and NRI quotas as per government regulations. Admission to the MBA programme is based on valid scores in KMAT Kerala, CAT, CMAT, or other approved management entrance examinations, followed by group discussion and/or personal interview as prescribed by the university. Candidates applying for BBA are admitted based on their qualifying examination marks and the admission norms of the institution. Applicants must satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria, submit the required documents for verification, and complete the admission formalities, including fee payment, within the stipulated time to confirm their seats.

Admission Criteria

B.Tech
Admission Process 

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology as one optional subject, satisfying the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Government of Kerala and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU).
• Applicants seeking merit admission must qualify in the KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Architecture & Medical) entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.
• Candidates must participate in the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by CEE Kerala and opt for Providence College of Engineering & School of Business during the counselling process.
• Management Quota and NRI Quota admissions are available as per the norms of the Government of Kerala and the Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC), subject to the prescribed eligibility requirements.
• Final admission is confirmed after seat allotment, document verification, payment of the prescribed admission fee, and fulfillment of all KTU and institutional admission requirements.

Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Physics and Mathematics must be compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology as one of the optional subjects.
• Applicants should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (or the prescribed optional subject in place of Chemistry). Relaxation in marks is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of Kerala norms.
• Candidates seeking merit admission must qualify in the KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Architecture & Medical) entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.
• Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and the Government of Kerala for admission to the B.Tech programme.

BBA

Admission Process 

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with the minimum marks prescribed by the affiliating university.
• Admission to the BBA programme is primarily based on merit in the qualifying examination (Class 12), in accordance with the admission guidelines of the college and the affiliating university.
• Eligible candidates must submit the prescribed application form along with the required academic certificates and supporting documents within the stipulated admission period.
• Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend a personal interview or counselling session, if prescribed by the institution, before the final selection.
• Final admission is confirmed after verification of original documents, payment of the prescribed admission fee, and fulfillment of all eligibility requirements of the affiliating university.

Eligibility 

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Students from Science, Commerce, or Humanities (Arts) streams are eligible to apply for the BBA programme.

MBA

Admission Process 

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with the minimum marks prescribed by the affiliating university and the Government of Kerala.
• Applicants should have a valid score in KMAT Kerala, CMAT, or CAT, as per the admission guidelines of the Government of Kerala and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU).
• Eligible candidates must submit the prescribed application form along with academic transcripts, entrance examination scorecard, and other required documents.
• Shortlisted candidates may be required to participate in a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the institution as part of the selection process.
• Final admission is confirmed after merit evaluation, document verification, payment of the prescribed admission fee, and fulfillment of all university eligibility requirements.
