PSG Institute of Technology & Applied Research (PSG iTech) is a Premier and one of the most Prestigious Engineering Institutes in Tamil Nadu and India. It was established in the year 2014, under the aegis of PSG Sons and Charities as the 30th Institution under itsUmbrella. The objective to set up this Institution was the vision to achieve academic excellence and nurture future Engineers with the required skills to face global challenges.

PSG iTech has a huge Campus of 40 Acres and is situated on the Salem Highway, Avinashi Rd, Neelambur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The Campus is a 4-star rated Green Campus certified by Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA), which is a rating system that assesses a building's environmental performance. Distance from the College to Coimbatore Airport is 5Kms, to Coimbatore Railway Station 21 Kms and to Main Bus Stand 20 Kms, and are easily accessible.

PSG iTech offers a wide range of UG, PG, and Doctoral Academic Courses. It has 6 B.E, 1 B.Tech and 2 M.E options to choose from in various Disciplines. It has an approved Total Intake Capacity of 624 Students per Academic Year. Apart from the above, the College also offers 3 Ph.D Programs. The College has Scholarships in various categories to assist Students as announced by the Government. It also has a scheme for Specially-Abled Students and a Merit-cum-Need based Scholarship. It also has Transport Fee Waiver for Local Industry Visits.

The Library is housed in E1- 301 & 302 of Admin Block with a total area of 8869.46 Sqft (824 Sq Mt). The compilation in the library is extensive owning 24113 volumes and has a subscription to 77 print periodicals and 872 online international journals for scholarly communication.

The central library is fully equipped with computerized RFID technology which provides
self-issue/return/renewal of books, and periodicals using “Kiosk” system. Users will receive an email notification for each transaction through their institute email ID. Open Access System is being followed in the library.PSG iTech sensible of providing healthcare to everyone in the campus. Institute also ensure the proper diagnosis of health issue by assigning a fulltime doctor with nursing assistant. A well-organized dispensary is available in the Medical Centre to provide a First Aid, equipped with 3 bed with all emergency care support system & ambulance facility is also available.
