PSN Institute of Technology and Science (PSNITS) is a Leading, Private, Self-Financing, Non-Minority, Co-Educational College in Tirunelveli. It was established in the year 2009 by the PSN Trust for Education and Charity under the leadership of Dr P Suyambu, Founder & Chairman, PSN Group of Institutions. The PSN group with a network of eight institutions has made tremendous strides in the field of higher education. The objective behind establishing the College was its aim to be a centre of excellence in technical education, empowering students with knowledge, skills, and human values to become professionally competent and socially progressive.

PSN Institute of Technology and Science is located at Melathediyoor, Palayamkottai TK, Tirunelveli. The College is located 12km away from Tirunelveli unfolding its grandeur over 27 acres of land. The College exhibits an attractive panorama conducive to education and research due to its serene surroundings covered by last rows of green trees at the backdrop of mountains with birds chirping all time. Tirunelveli Railway Station and Main Bus Stand are 12 Kms away from the College Campus and Madurai Airport is at a distance of 100 Kms.

PSN Institute of Technology and Science is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The Library of PSN Institute of Technology and Science came into being in the year 2001. The Library is built up and is being equipped steadily and systematically. The Library is located in an easily accessible area near the Administrative Block, Research Block, Placement Cell, and Class Rooms. The total area of the library is 28316.6 sq. ft (Ground & First),The department of Physical Education of PSN has an outstanding infrastructure for sports and regular physical exercise. An indoor auditorium is available for shuttle badminton, table tennis and carom. The gym facility is also available for both boys and girls separately with the latest gym equipment of the highest standard.

The motto of NCC is “Unity and Discipline”. ‘Unity’ implies our basic oneness, the brotherhood of all the Indian people regardless of their caste, colour or creed. Likewise, ‘Discipline’ is the very bedrock on which any nation is founded. It is for these reasons this has been adopted as motto of the NCC.

Deluxe buses are available for students covering long-distance places.
The institution has a strong transport system with a fleet of buses operating from our campus. They facilitate ease of conveyance for both students and staff.
