PSNA College of Engineering & Technology (PSNA CET) is an Autonomous Engineering College situated in Dindigul, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The College, which functions under the aegis of Sri Rangalatchumi Educational Trust, was founded in 1984 by the late Kalvi Thanthai Thiru R.S. Kothandaraman. He established this citadel of learning with an enduring dedication to the pursuit of excellence, and to uplift the downtrodden and needy people of this part of the country during its formative period.
Surrounded by farm fields and lush green hills, the PSNA College of Engineering & Technology, located in the 118.52-acre campus with built up area of 1,21,452.70 sq.m. in Kothandaraman Nagar, on the Dindigul-Palani Highway, Dindugul, Tamil Nadu. The campus is situated near the village Muthanampatti, 10 km from Dindigul Town which is nestling in the lap between the Palani and Sirumalai hills on a tributary of the Cauvery River.
PSNA CET is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE, New Delhi. Accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), PSNA challenges the status quo and make discoveries that reshape the future. The college is Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It is accredited with the rating of A++ by NAAC with CGPA of 3.65.
PSNA CET offers 9 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate full time programs in Engineering, Technology, Computer Applications and Management Studies, besides Doctoral Programs in Engineering, Technology, and Science & Humanities through recognized Research Centres of the college by Anna University, Chennai, with world of opportunities to help one grow and transform amid varied options for internal exploration and self-discovery. The courses offered by PSNA CET are BE, BTech, ME, MBA, MCA, Ph.D/MS. BTech admission 2024 is done through the TNEA exam.
PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, one of the premier and pioneer institutions in Tamil Nadu started admitting foreign students from 2002 onwards. Since it maintains high academic standards along with enviable placement record and therefore it has emerged as the most sought institution among the students of foreign nationality. Starting with Bhutan and Nepal initially, admissions have now been extended to countries like Sri Lanka, Sudan, Korea and the Middle East. Foreign Nationals and the children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries under PIO quota are being admitted with a special approval from AICTE-New Delhi. It maintains a cosmopolitan atmosphere in its campus and this cross –cultural flavor has made it a premier institution with international reckoning among the institutions in Tamil Nadu state. At present, there are about 138 foreign students from 06 countries pursuing UG and PG programs at PSNA CET
In a span of 39 years, it has emerged as one of the premier engineering colleges for sheer intellectual breadth and life-changing experience to advance knowledge. PSNA CET is home to more than six thousand five hundred students across the country as well as overseas. The Foreign Students Admissions Cell actively takes part in International Education Exhibitions, co-ordinates with foreign Ministries of Education and Indian Embassies abroad, signs MoU’s with the recruitment agencies and service providers. Also, the cell looks after the welfare of the foreign students during their stay at PSNA CET.
PSNA CET provides excellent facilities like Placement Assistance, Alumni Assn., Library, Hostels and much more. The College has a Training and Placement Cell that offers opportunities to students to get placed in various organisations. The cell updates students about job pre-requisites and advancements in various sectors. It organises workshops on Career guidance, Personality enhancement, Group discussions, Interview techniques, verbal and non-verbal Corporate Communication Skills.
