Admission Procedure

The TNEA General Counselling 2025 Round 2 provisional allotment has been released for admission to BE/BTech courses. Candidates assigned seats must report to their respective colleges on or before Aug 4, 2025 (by 5 PM). Furthermore, Round 3 choice filling will start on Aug 7, 2025.

• Admission is primarily through TNEA counselling, based on your 10+2 marks

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 (Academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

M.E / M.B.A / M.C.A - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

• Selection through TANCET, CET, or GATE scores.

Eligibility

• B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant specialization, with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
• Bachelor’s degree (3 years) in any discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in BCA / B.Sc. / B.Com, etc., with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
  

Scholarship

FIRST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP - GOVERNMENT OF TAMILNADU

• Those candidates who belong to OC / BC / MBC / SC / SCA / ST community are eligible for this scholarship
  
• Candidates who undergo graduate study for the first time in the family are only eligible and there should not be any graduate other than the applicant
  
• The candidates who are admitted through Single Window System are eligible
  

Placement

The criteria for judging the success of the program will be based on the three core objectives of the English Communication and its relevance and student needs and interests.

Tests are conducted regularly and in an organized manner as a part of the CIA (Continuous Internal Assessment). There will be three micro tests of 1 hour duration and one macro test of 2 hours duration every semester which will provide teacher and learner with constant feedback on the teaching-learning process. Students are tested for skills on their ability to use language and not their memory of content and knowledge of discreet grammatical items. Hence, unseen passages for comprehension and unrehearsed writing tasks but similar to the ones done in the class become an integral part of the testing format.

Cafeteria, situated in a spacious building, cools down both staffs and students with soft drinks, enacts them with the hot beverages and relaxes them with snacks and pastries About 800 students staying in boys' hostel within the college campus find their leisure and relaxation even at odd hours at night in the midst of their studies, particularly during exam days at the cafeteria.We have an Automated Central Library that is equipped with huge number of domestic international books, magazines and journals.

For the convenience of students and staff, there is an ATM counter of the ICICI Bank within the College premises. This makes it easy for them to meet routine expenses as well as contingencies.The College ensures that students and staff have easy access to medical facilities at any point of time. There is a Dispensary and Doctor on call 24X7 to attend to any kind of medical emergency.

Hostel

“Make yourself a comfortable accommodation”

• With the conviction that the students’ residential atmosphere should be conducive for study and development of their personality and physical traits, management has provided hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
  
• The boys are accommodated in six blocks of buildings adjacent to the college and the girl students are provided with a separate hostel, which is kept under continuous vigil by a tight security system.
  
• Good quality food is provided to the students at a reasonable cost. We have a fully automatic Domestic Mineral Water Plant that provides hygienic drinking water for the students.
  

Transport

“Wherever you go our vehicle follows”

More than 20 buses from the College help daily commuters travel to the college without difficulty. The buses are operated on a 70-km radius and bring in students from neighbouring Districts including Madurai, Palani, Natham, Oddanchachatram and Periyakulam. The charges for transportation are nominal and very affordable.
