RVS Technical Campus–Coimbatore (RVSTCC) is a private, self-financing engineering institution located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The institution was established in 2009 by the RVS Educational Trust, under the leadership of Chairman Dr. K. V. Kupusamy, with the objective of providing quality technical education and developing skilled professionals for engineering and technology sectors. The campus follows the educational philosophy of the RVS Group and focuses on education, empowerment, innovation, practical learning, research, and holistic student development.

RVS Technical Campus is situated at Kumaran Kottam Campus, Trichy Road, Kannampalayam, Coimbatore – 641 402, Tamil Nadu. The institution is located around 14 km from Coimbatore city and operates within a large campus environment. Admission to RVS Technical Campus–Coimbatore is conducted according to the applicable regulations of Anna University, the Government of Tamil Nadu, and the Directorate of Technical Education. Admission Process

• Candidates must complete the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) application process.

• Participate in TNEA counselling and select R.M. Engineering College, Kanchipuram and the preferred engineering branch.

• After allotment, report to the college and complete document verification.

• Pay the prescribed fees and complete university admission and registration formalities.

• Attend the orientation programme and commence the academic session.

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2/Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognized board.

• Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

• Must satisfy the minimum marks and subject requirements prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu and the concerned affiliating university.

• Admission is generally through TNEA counselling based on qualifying-examination merit.

M.E. – Admission Process

• Candidates must hold a recognized B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering or technology discipline.

• Candidates should complete the prescribed postgraduate admission application through the applicable Tamil Nadu admission authority/university process.

• Candidates may be required to appear for CEETA-PG or another entrance examination, as applicable under the prevailing admission regulations.

• Submit academic certificates, entrance examination score/details, community certificate, transfer certificate, and other required documents.

• Participate in the prescribed counselling and certificate verification process.

RVSTCC aims at providing organizations with engineers who are an appropriate fit for the organization's needs. We always endeavor to build such capabilities among the students in a systematic manner. The training and placement division lead by a senior and experienced person, has a focused approach to prepare students right from the second year of joining the college. The preparation process addresses such areas as building relationship and projecting a personality that is appropriate to a young engineering graduate taking an assignment in an organization. We address two different aspects of student’s capability. Experienced teaching staff takes care of the technological abilities to be able to recall knowledge gained during academics for application at work place and secondly the soft skills required which now a day's plays an important role in the industry. We also have facilities within college premises for conducting campus interviews and these include those for presentation, conducting aptitude tests, group discussions and interviews. Training and Placement division aims at specifically developing these abilities through planned training for the students. The institute looks forward to conducting such activities by the help of selected internal and external faculties. This training will include personality development, communication skills, and extensive exercises to inculcate analytical abilities empowering students to interpret data faster. RVS Technical Campus is located in a tranquil and conducive ambience creating an ideal learning environment to stimulate intellectual and personal growth. It is housed at a distance of 25 kms from Coimbatore railway station. Reverse Osmosis Plant is established for providing Ultra Pure Drinking water for Healthy campus life. Uninterrupted power supply keeps the campus life online. Smart class rooms, Spacious, well ventilated, well-equipped and well-furnished classrooms. Each department classrooms are "smart," with high-speed data inter and intra networks LCD projectors for audio and video. They are designed to promote maximum interaction between the faculty and the students.

The library includes large number of books, national and international. The aim of the Library is to serve the needs of our faculty, Research Scholars, Students and Members of the Library in all areas of education among the academic and business community. The library resource center is fully automated using Autolib library software. The user has access to the entire collection through the latest technologies like CD, DVD, Multimedia Kits, Bar-code Scanners, Text and Graphic Scanners.

Cafeteria, situated in a spacious building, cools down both staffs and students with soft drinks, enacts them with the hot beverages and relaxes them with snacks and pastries About 800 students staying in boys' hostel within the college campus find their leisure and relaxation even at odd hours at night in the midst of their studies, particularly during exam days at the cafeteria.For the convenience of students and staff, there is an ATM counter of the ICICI Bank within the College premises. This makes it easy for them to meet routine expenses as well as contingencies.

The College ensures that students and staff have easy access to medical facilities at any point of time. There is a Dispensary and Doctor on call 24X7 to attend to any kind of medical emergency.

The Institute has resident-hall facilities for boys and girls separately constructed in a calm and healthy location, located in the campus. Hostel Students also have sports and other recreational facilities. Residents are expected to strictly adhere to set of rules and regulations of hostel.

• With the conviction that the students’ residential atmosphere should be conducive for study and development of their personality and physical traits, management has provided hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
  
• The boys are accommodated in six blocks of buildings adjacent to the college and the girl students are provided with a separate hostel, which is kept under continuous vigil by a tight security system.
  
• Good quality food is provided to the students at a reasonable cost. We have a fully automatic Domestic Mineral Water Plant that provides hygienic drinking water for the students.
  

The campus provides transportation facilities connecting the institution with Coimbatore and nearby towns and residential areas.
